NFL Post Week 10 Coaches Hot Seat Rankings

Give These Hot Seat Coaches HELL Johnny Cash!

Top 7 Coaches on the NFL Post Week 10 Coaches Hot Seat Rankings

1.  Joe Philbin, Miami Dolphins – Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross addressed the media before the Dolphins – Bucs game on Monday Night on the issues surrounding the Richie Incognito – Jonathan Martin fiasco that has clearly embarrassed and pissed of Stephen Ross BUT our main concern here is NFL Coaches on the Hot Seat and in our opinion…

Miami Dolphins Head Coach Joe Philbin is now sitting on the Hottest Seat in the NFL

We here at Coaches Hot Seat do not question Joe Philbin or Dolphins OC Mike Sherman’s (who was on the Hot Seat most of the time he was the head football coach at Texas A&M)….

Knowledge of the Game of Football

…or any number of other traits that good people like Philbin and Sherman possess BUT we here at Coaches Hot Seat…

Do Question Joe Philbin’s Capacity and Ability to be a Head Football Coach in the NFL

…..and it is up to Joe Philbin who is being paid Millions of Dollars to win football games and run the Miami Dolphins football team to prove us wrong and in our opinion Joe Philbin is…

Failing miserably at running the Miami Dolphins right now.

HBO covered the Miami Dolphins training camp in their Hard Knocks series before the 2012 season and we thought while watching that series that at best…

Joe Philbin was an average head coaching hire by the Miami Dolphins

….and that Philbin would not survive past his third season in Miami and one of the reasons that we didn’t believe in Philbin’s ability to be a NFL head coach after seeing Hark Knocks series was that…

We didn’t believe in the Fall of 2012 that Joe Philbin had the ability to manage the diverse and often odd personalities especially on a team with a roster of the Miami Dolphins nor to handle the responsibilities that come with coaching a NFL football team.

Well, it wasn’t exactly that clear in the Fall of 2013 but it is our opinion that…

Joe Philbin is NOT a NFL head coach

…..and over the next few weeks Joe Philbin will have every Damn opportunity to prove us wrong.

The Miami Dolphins with the loss to the winless Tampa Bay Bucs on Monday night are now…

4 – 5

…on the season with these games still left to play:

San Diego Chargers
Carolina Panthers
At New York Jets
At Pittsburgh Steelers
New England Patriots
At Buffalo Bills
New York Jets

The AFC looks to us to be a place where a team that wants to secure a Wild Card spot in 2013 will have to win…

9 Games

….and that means the Dolphins will have to more than likely go…

5 – 2

….in their last 7 games and considering all that has happened in Miami in recent weeks IF the Dolphins don’t make the Playoffs in 2013 we cannot imagine Joe Philbin will be back for the 2014 season in Miami.

Memo to Miami Dolphins Owner Stephen Ross:  When you are hiring a head football coach you are NOT just hiring a coach that has high integrity he must also know how to be…

A Football Coach

How To Lead Men

How To Lead A Football Team To Wins and Championships

Keep that in mind Stephen Ross over the next 8 weeks.

2.  Jason Garrett, Dallas Cowboys – The BIGGEST disaster now unfolding in Dallas IS NOT that Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett is on a fast train to losing his head coaching job but rather IF the Cowboys do not make it to the Playoffs in 2013 then Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones will have to…

Admit he was wrong….AGAIN

….which has been the case dozens of times over the past 14 or so years which is a time period when the Dallas Cowboys have won…

1 Freaking Playoff Game!

Head Coach Jason Garrett and the Dallas Cowboys are now…

5 – 5

…on the season and they have left to play…

At New York Giants
Oakland Raiders
At Chicago Bears
Green Bay Packers
At Washington Redskins
Philadelphia Eagles

…..and looking over the Philadelphia Eagles remaining schedule it is our opinion that the Eagles will arrive in Dallas on December 29 with a record of something like…

9 – 6

…and if that comes true Garrett and the Cowboys will need to win…

3 of their next 5 games at a minimum

….to have a chance to play the Eagles for the NFC East division title in late December and for Damn sure the Cowboys better not lose to the New York Giants a week from this coming Sunday.

Jason Garrett is sitting on a Very Damn Hot Seat as he should be and if Jerry Jones had a Freaking Clue he would put his ass on the Hot Seat as well and look into the mirror and say to himself…

“Jerry Jones, GM of the Dallas Cowboys, YOU ARE FIRED!

Don’t count on that EVER happening since it is our opinion that Jerry Jones would trade the…

Complete Destruction of the Dallas Cowboys football team and the Complete Loss of the Jones Family Fortune

…..in exchange for not having to admit that HE WAS WRONG about anything because in Jerry’s World Jerry Jones is the one that should get all the credit because after all…..Jerry Jones is Jerry Jones.

If you are thinking as we do that Jerry Jones has a serious mental illness that is created and fed by Jerry’s MASSIVE EGO then you would….in our opinion….be right!

After watching Jerry Jones’ Idiocy for over a decade now we cannot help but think of quote from one of our former bosses from a long time ago…President Ronald Reagan….who said about leaders getting “credit”….

“There is no limit to the amount of good you can do if you don’t care who gets the credit.”

You see….Jerry Jones desperately wants ALL THE CREDIT and that Idiocy has and will continue to make the Dallas Cowboys into a….

Average Football Team

Average Football Organization

….that in our opinion is led by egomaniacal maniac on an order not seen since the Roman Empire was led by Julius Caesar.

3.  Dennis Allen, Oakland Raiders – In a season where Raiders head coach Dennis Allen probably needs…

8 Wins

…to return as the Raiders head coach in 2014 Oakland dropped to…

3 – 6

…on Sunday with a loss to the New York Giants and they still have these games to play…

At Houston Texans
Tennessee Titans
At Dallas Cowboys
At New York Jets
Kansas City Chiefs
At San Diego Chargers
Denver Broncos

That is a pretty tough schedule and if Dennis Allen and the Raiders are going to win…

5 of their last 7 Games

….then they better Damn win their next two games against the Texans and Titans before two road games against the Cowboys and Jets.

4.  Greg Schiano, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – We don’t have a clue what the owners of the Tampa Bay Bucs are thinking right now but there were several media reports out in the last few days that they are inclined to let Bucs head coach Greg Schiano coach out the rest of the season and see where things stand at the end of December and on Monday Night Schiano and the Bucs got their first win of the season over the reeling Miami Dolphins and now we get to see what the Bucs can do the rest of the 2013 season.

Now at 1 – 8 the Bucs still have to play this season…

Atlanta Falcons
At Detroit Lions
At Carolina Panthers
Buffalo Bills
San Francisco 49ers
At St. Louis Rams
At New Orleans Saints

That is a tough schedule remaining for Greg Schiano and the Bucs and we would be STUNNED if the Bucs won more than…

3 Games

….in 2013 and thus more than likely Greg Schiano will be fired at the end of this year and if Greg Schiano wants to be coaching in college in 2014 then Schiano’s agent is right now working the phones to find a job his client can transition quickly into and there just may be a college job or two that will come open in the coming weeks that would fit Greg Schiano very nicely.

5.  Mike Munchak, Tennessee Titans – Titans head coach Mike Munchak has had to deal with some key injuries to several of his players this season BUT the NFL is not a place for excuses and now in his third season coaching at Tennessee Munchak as put up a record of….

19 – 22

….with NO winning seasons on the board and that is why the last 7 games of the Titans 2013 season will tell the tale on whether Munchak will be back to coach the Titans in 2014.

With the loss to the winless Jaguars on Sunday the Titans are now at 4 – 5 on the season the Titans still have to play this season..

Indianapolis Colts
At Oakland Raiders
At Denver Broncos
Arizona Cardinals
At Jacksonville Jaguars
Houston Texans

….and it is our opinion that to hold onto his job Mike Munchak’s Titans team will have to win a minimum of…

4 of their last 7 games

…..starting with the game against the Colts this coming Thursday night in Nashville.

Coach Hard Mike Munchak!

6.  Leslie Frazier, Minnesota Vikings – Leslie Frazier and the Minnesota Vikings got a MUCH NEEDED WIN against the Washington Redskins last Thursday night and now the Vikings must keep things rolling because Frazier with a career record in Minnesota of….

18 – 29

…..in four seasons on the job is in serious jeopardy of losing his job unless the Vikings come roaring back in their last seven games of the season which are against…

At Seattle Seahawks
At Green Bay Packers
Chicago Bears
At Baltimore Ravens
Philadelphia Eagles
At Cincinnati Bengals
Detroit Lions

That is a TOUGH seven game finish to the 2013 season for the Minnesota Vikings and barring some much-improved play by this football team the Minnesota job could very well open up come the first of the year.

7.  Rex Ryan, New York Jets – There is a joy to knowing exactly what one must do in life and that one will either…

Do It or Not Do It

….and that is now what is facing Rex Ryan and the New York Jets as they enter the last seven games of the 2013 season where it is either…

Playoffs or BUST

…..for Rex Ryan’s head coaching career in New York.

The New York Jets are now…

5 – 4

…on the season and they have these games still left to play…

At Buffalo Bills
At Baltimore Ravens
Miami Dolphins
Oakland Raiders
At Carolina Panthers
Cleveland Browns
At Miami Dolphins

…and with 9 wins minimum their target to have a decent chance of making the Playoffs…

Priority 1, 2 and 3

…is beating the Buffalo Bills in Buffalo on Sunday and if the Jets lose this game then the game at Baltimore in Week 12 will be….

The Biggest Game of Rex Ryan’s Coaching Career.

Coach Hard Rex Ryan…Very Damn Hard!
