NFL Week 12 MUST WIN Games for Head Coaches and Teams – 11 NFL Head Coaches and Teams Facing MUST WIN Games in Week 12

NFL Week 12 MUST WIN Games for Head Coaches and Teams

Greg Schiano, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Detroit Lions – Now sitting on an overall record of 9 – 17 in two seasons as the head coach of the Bucs Greg Schiano is as much on one of the Hottest Seats in the NFL because of what has happened off the field during his time in Tampa as his win/loss record and if Schiano does want to coach the Bucs into the future then he will need to prove his football team is behind in the last six games of this NFL season.

Now at 2 – 8 on the season the Bucs have left to play this season…

At Detroit Lions
At Carolina Panthers
Buffalo Bills
San Francisco 49ers
At St. Louis Rams
At New Orleans

….and if we were Greg Schiano and we wanted to return to coach the Bucs in 2014 we would want to see at least…

4 Wins

….on the board come December and we also would be working very Damn hard to unify our Bucs team so that when the regular season ends we would at least have an argument to be given one more season to see if we can prove that we are NFL head coaching timber.

The Detroit Lions are a pretty good football team and the Bucs beating the Lions on the road would be a “significant” win for Greg Schiano and the Bucs and thus….

The Detroit Lions is a MUST WIN Game for Greg Schiano and the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Jim Schwartz, Detroit Lions vs. Tampa Bay Bucs – After ten games of the regular season Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz has his football team well-positioned to make the Playoffs and that is a good thing because if Schwartz doesn’t take his football team to the Playoffs in 2013 then there will be someone else coaching the Detroit Lions in 2014.

Now at 6 – 4 on the season and leading the NFC North the Lions have left to play…

Tampa Bay Bucs
Green Bay Packers
At Philadelphia Eagles
Baltimore Ravens
New York Giants
At Minnesota Vikings

….and that schedule makes the Lions next two home games against the Bucs and Packers very Damn critical because a loss in either of these games when the Lions will be clear favorites would put the Lions into a serious MUST WIN situation at Philadelphia in Week 15 and the Eagles will probably be in a MUST WIN situation themselves then so no doubt….

The Tampa Bay Bucs is a MUST WIN Game for Jim Schwartz and the Detroit Lions.

Leslie Frazier, Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers – With an overall record of 18 – 30 in four seasons as the head coach of the Vikings Leslie Frazier may not be able to save his job in the last six games of the 2013 regular season but for Damn sure the Vikings can go down fighting at least beginning with this Sunday’s game at the Green Bay Packers.

Now at 2 – 8 on the season the Vikings have left to play…

At Green Bay Packers
Chicago Bears
At Baltimore Ravens
Philadelphia Eagles
At Cincinnati Bengals
Detroit Lions

….and with that schedule we would be stunned if the Vikings won more than…

4 Games in 2013

….and 4 wins in your fourth season on the job will just flat-out not get it done for Leslie Frazier.

YES…the Green Bay Packers is a MUST WIN Game for Leslie Frazier and the Minnesota Vikings.

Jeff Fisher, St. Louis Rams vs. Chicago Bears – The $7 Million Dollar Man otherwise known as St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has an overall record in two seasons of coaching the Rams of…

11 – 14 – 1

….which is about…

$640,000 Per Win

…..and with the Rams now at 4 – 6 on the 2013 NFL season and coming off a 38 – 0 pasting of the Colts we will all get to see if Fisher is worth all that money the Rams are paying him or if Fisher is just going through the motions because coaches doing more than “going through the motions” win consistently not just every “once in awhile.”

Even at 4 – 6 the Rams still have an outside chance of making the Playoffs in 2013 but with these games still remaining to be played…

Chicago Bears
At San Francisco 49ers
At Arizona Cardinals
New Orleans Saints
Tampa Bay Bucs
At Seattle Seahawks

….which includes three of the top teams in the NFL in the 49ers, Saints and Seahawks the Rams have very little margin for error and that really means that…

The Chicago Bears is a MUST WIN Game for Jeff Fisher and the St. Louis Rams.

Joe Philbin, Miami Dolphins vs. Carolina Panthers – For the Coaches Hot Seat Members that served in the US Military and were awarded the Combat Action Ribbon for their actions in Desert Storm in 1991 when they read about all this stuff on how NFL coaches and even fellow players go about…

“Toughening Up Players”

….in the NFL they cannot help but wonder who raised these people exactly because there are no human beings they know of that really believe calling people…

Repugnant and Racist Names and Playing Stupid Tricks on People

….is how you would toughen up REAL MEN.

But hold it second….why should anyone here at Coaches Hot Seat assume that we are talking about…

….on this Miami Dolphins football team and coaching staff because of what we have read so far what we have with the Dolphins in our opinion is really…

Very Damn Little Leadership and lots of Candy Ass Pussies acting like they are REAL MEN

As for what lies ahead for head coach Joe Philbin and the Miami Dolphins besides a looming report from the NFL on the Incognito – Martin Debacle the Dolphins are now 5 – 5 on the season and have these games left to play…

Carolina Panthers
At New York Jets
At Pittsburgh Steelers
New England Patriots
At Buffalo Bills
New York Jets

If the NFL report on the Incognito – Martin Debacle says what we believe what it will say….that there has been Very Damn Little Leadership within the Miami Dolphins football team….then there is probably little that Joe Philbin can do to save his head coaching job BUT for Damn sure if the Dolphins don’t make the Playoffs in 2013 then Joe Philbin will have next to NO chance to coach the Dolphins in 2014 so….

YES….the Carolina Panthers is a MUST WIN Game for Joe Philbin and the Miami Dolphins

Rex Ryan, New York Jets vs. Baltimore Ravens – The New York Jets have the inside track to the Playoffs this season even after some uneven play and very Damn inconsistent coaching (including Rex Ryan not having his team ready to play several games in 2013) the Jets at 5 – 5 have a very manageable schedule left to play…

At Baltimore Ravens
Miami Dolphins
Oakland Raiders
At Carolina Panthers
Cleveland Browns
At Miami Dolphins

….and with home games against the Dolphins and Raiders up next after the Ravens on the road beating Baltimore would be HUGE for Rex Ryan and the Jets so…

YES…the Baltimore Ravens is a MUST WIN Game for Rex Ryan and the Jets!

Mike Munchak, Tennessee Titans vs. Oakland Raiders – Does Mike Munchak have to take the Tennessee Titans to the Playoffs to return as the head coach of the Titans in 2014?

Maybe….Maybe Not

BUT for Damn sure the Tennessee Titans now at 4 – 6 on the season cannot afford to flail around down the stretch or Mike Munchak will be shown the door come December and with these games left to play….

At Oakland Raiders
At Indianapolis Cots
At Denver Broncos
Arizona Cardinals
At Jacksonville Jaguars
Houston Texans

…IF the Titans finish with less than…

7 Wins

….in 2013 then in our opinion….

Mike Munchak WILL BE FIRED at the end of December.

YES…Coach Hard Mike Munchak

YES….the Oakland Raiders is a MUST WIN Game for Mike Munchak and the Tennessee Titans

Dennis Allen, Oakland Raiders vs. Tennessee Titans – Dennis Allen and the Oakland Raiders got their MUST WIN in Week 11 on the road against a below average Houston Texans team and with another below average team coming into Oakland in the Tennessee Titans on Sunday Allen and his Raiders need to keep things rolling by putting up a win in this spot.

Now at 4 – 6 on the season and with these games left to play…

Tennessee Titans
At Dallas Cowboys
At New York Jets
Kansas City Chiefs
At San Diego Chargers
Denver Broncos

….a win in Week 12 against the Titans is not only a MUST WIN it is CRITICAL to Dennis Allen’s head coaching future in the NFL or anywhere else.

Jason Garrett, Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants – Based upon what Jerry Jones has been saying in the last few days like…

Jerry Jones is a “great GM”

Jason Garrett “will be back in 2014 even if the Cowboys don’t make the Playoffs this season”

….we here at Coaches Hot Seat cannot help but wonder….

Is Jerry Jones like the Mayor of Toronto on some kind of illegal drugs?

Just wondering because IF Jerry Jones thinks that he is doing a great job as a GM and that Jason Garrett has earned the right to coach the Dallas Cowboys for another season then…

Jerry Jones is STUPIDER than George W. Bush

AND in our opinion…

IF you change George W. Bush’s last name to Smith….

W would be lucky to be shoveling shit in West Texas right now!

YES….it makes Perfect Damn Sense that BIG TWO MORONS…

George W. Bush

Jerry Jones

…..both live in Dallas, Texas!

The Dallas Cowboys are 5 – 5 on the season which is BELOW AVERAGE in case Jerry Jones was wondering since Bozo the Clown…

…could have taken this Dallas Cowboys team to the Playoffs in 2013 and with these games still left to play…

At New York Giants
Oakland Raiders
At Chicago Bears
Green Bay Packers
At Washington Redskins
Philadelphia Eagles

…..a loss to the Giants in this spot would be a Complete Freaking Disaster and in for a decade-plus now Jerry Jones has been Very Damn Good at putting his Cowboys football team into spots where they follow through on Complete Freaking Disasters and we will all get to see if they do it again against the Giants on Sunday!

One thing for sure it is Very Damn Fun watching a Complete Moron like Jerry Jones go off the deep end with Jones surrounded by nothing but people that…

Kiss His Precious Ass

….including head coach Jason Garrett in our opinion which makes Garrett the PERFECT coach for the Dallas Cowboys since in our opinion Jerry Jones above all wants people working for him that…

Kiss His Precious Ass!

Hell, one usually has to pay good money for this kind of High Comedy and here we can all just sit back and watch Jerry Jones & Company in all their Complete Idiocy and…

Laugh, and Laugh, and Laugh, and Laugh!

Thanks Jerry!

Tom Coughlin, New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys – After starting the season with SIX straight losses Tom Coughlin and the Giants have run off FOUR straight wins and have a decent chance of getting back into the Playoffs with this very manageable schedule ahead…

Dallas Cowboys
At Washington Redskins
At San Diego Chargers
Seattle Seahawks
At Detroit Lions
Washington Redskins

….BUT the Giants CANNOT LOSE to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday if they want to keep this train rolling so…

The Dallas Cowboys is a MUST WIN Game for Tom Coughlin and the New York Giants

IF the New York Giants lose to the Dallas Cowboys Tom Coughlin will be headed back to the Hot Seat!

Mike Shanahan, Washington Redskins vs. San Francisco 49ers – More than likely anything short of the Washington Redskins turning things completely around in the last six games of the regular season the Mike Shanahan-era in Washington will be coming to an end come December and with only ONE winning season in four years on the board it makes sense that Shanahan is now coaching or his job and headed for a Very Hot Seat.

Washington is now 3 – 7 on the season and has left to play…

San Francisco 49ers
New York Giants
Kansas City Chiefs
At Atlanta Falcons
Dallas Cowboys
At New York Giants

…..and if Mike Shanahan wants to have a fighting chance to keep his job then the Redskins better Damn beat the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night!

YES….the San Francisco 49ers is a MUST WIN Game for Mike Shanahan and the Washington Redskins

Coaches Hot Seat NFL Quotes of the Day – Saturday, November 23, 2013 – San Francisco

Coaches Hot Seat NFL Quotes of the Day – Saturday, November 23, 2013 – San Francisco

“San Francisco is a mad city – inhabited for the most part by perfectly insane people whose women are of a remarkable beauty.” Rudyard Kipling

“I hope I go to Heaven, and when I do, I’m going to do what every San Franciscan does when he gets there. He looks around and says, ‘It ain’t bad, but it ain’t San Francisco.'” Herb Caen

“Anyone who doesn’t have a great time in San Francisco is pretty much dead to me.” Anthony Bourdain

“A city is where you can sign a petition, boo the chief justice, fish off a pier, gaze at a hippopotamus, buy a flower at the corner, or get a good hamburger or a bad girl at 4 A.M. A city is where sirens make white streaks of sound in the sky and foghorns speak in dark grays. San Francisco is such a city.” Herb Caen

“San Francisco is gone. Nothing remains of it but memories.” Jack London

“San Francisco has always been my favorite booing city. I don’t mean the people boo louder or longer, but there is a very special intimacy. When they boo you, you know they mean you. Music, that’s what it is to me. One time in Kezar Stadium they gave me a standing boo.” George Halas

“I grew up in Marin County north of San Francisco, and in the 1950s and ’60s it was a natural paradise.” Huey Lewis

“You know what I like about San Francisco? The women are beautiful, fashionable and smart. San Francisco is one of the only cities I like to visit. I love New York and Chicago – I studied there, and L.A. has the same people as New York.” LeRoy Neiman

“You know what it is? San Francisco is a golden handcuff with the key thrown away.” John Steinbeck

“San Franciscans are very proud of their city, and they should be. It’s the most beautiful place in the world.” Robert Redford

“San Francisco is 49 square miles surrounded by reality.” Paul Kantner

“The ultimate (travel destination) for me would be one perfect day in San Francisco. It’s a perfect 72 degrees, clear, the sky bright blue. I’d start down at Fisherman’s Wharf with someone I really like and end with a romantic dinner and a ride over the Golden Gate Bridge. There’s no city like it anywhere. And, if I could be there with the girl of my dreams, that would be the ultimate.” Larry King

“Leaving San Francisco is like saying goodbye to an old sweetheart. You want to linger as long as possible.” Walter Kronkite

“What fetched me instantly (and thousands of other newcomers with me) was the subtle but unmistakeable sense of escape from the United States.” H.L. Mencken

“I don’t think San Francisco needs defending. I never meet anyone who doesn’t love the place, Americans or others.” Doris Lessing

” I don’t like San Francisco. I love it!” Dorothy Lamour

“I like the fog that creeps over the whole city every night about five, and the warm protective feeling it gives…and lights of San Francisco at night, the fog horn, the bay at dusk and the little flower stands where spring flowers appear before anywhere else in the country…But, most of all, I like the view of the ocean from the Cliff House.” Irene Dunne

“We’re crazy about this city. First time we came here, we walked the streets all day – all over town – and nobody hassled us. People smiled, friendly-like, and we knew we could live here……Los Angeles? That’s just a big parking lot where you buy a hamburger for a trip to San Francisco……And the beautiful old houses and the strange light. We’ve never been in a city with light like this. We sit in our hotel room for hours, watching the fog come in, the light change.” John Lennon and Yoko Ono

“Cities are like gentlemen, they are born, not made. You are either a city, or you are not, size has nothing to do with it. I bet San Francisco was a city from the very first time it had a dozen settlers. New York is “Yokel”, but San Francisco is “City at Heart”.” Will Rogers

“San Francisco is one of the great cultural plateaus of the world — one of the really urbane communities in the United States — one of the truly cosmopolitan places and for many, many years, it always has had a warm welcome for human beings from all over the world.” Duke Ellington

The sardine fleets sailing out. The little cable-cars whizzing down The City hills~. And all the people are open and friendly.” Dylan Thomas
