A Great Thanksgiving Weekend of Football in America Which Included the First Iron Bowl Between Alabama and Auburn For Many Coaches Hot Seat Members and What A Helluva Football Game That Was! – NFL Post Week 13 Coaches Hot Seat Rankings -Tell These Hot Seat Coaches the Ugly Damn Truth Johnny!

The Thanksgiving Weekend of Football in 2013 was filled with some of the most incredible college and professional football that we have witnessed in our 30, 40 and 50 plus years on this Earth and on Saturday many Coaches Hot Seat Members got to attend their first Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn and we can say nothing but…

WOW!

….about the atmosphere, the people, the teams and that game!

Auburn A-Day on Saturday, April 20, 2013 in Ala. Todd Van Emst

The Iron Bowl was just a Helluva of a Football Game and what Football is ALL about and SHOULD be all about in the American Republic in 2013.

Now let’s get to the NFL Post Week 13 Coaches Hot Seat Rankings!

NFL Post Week 13 Coaches Hot Seat Rankings

A chair on fire... metaphor "In The Hot Seat"

Tell These Hot Seat Coaches the Ugly Damn Truth Johnny!

RexRyan7

1.  Rex Ryan, New York Jets – Let’s just be completely honest here on the Jets loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday:

It Was A Complete Freaking Disaster!

Seriously now….

Is anyone REALLY coaching the New York Jets?

Answer: Not REALLY!

With that pitiful loss to the Miami Dolphins Rex Ryan and his Jets football team are now on the outside looking in for the Playoffs and it looks like Ryan is headed toward an eventual meeting where these words will be uttered by someone to Rex…

YOU’RE FIRED!

The New York Jets are now 5 – 7 on the season and amazingly not out of the AFC Playoff picture BUT with these games remaining to be played…

Oakland Raiders
At Carolina Panthers
Cleveland Browns
At Miami Dolphins

….the Jets will more than likely have to WIN OUT to make the Playoffs and NO Playoffs in 2013 has to mean Rex Ryan gets fired in New York….

Right?

No Playoffs for the Jets in 2013 would make THREE straight seasons for the Jets without a Playoff appearance and if you can keep your job doing that in New York then New York is no longer…

NEW YORK!

Let’s Keep New York, New York what it ALWAYS has been where performance is rewarded and failure is still…..FAILURE!

DennisAllen7

2.  Dennis Allen, Oakland Raiders – With Oakland’s loss to a very average Dallas Cowboys team on Thanksgiving the Raiders and their head coach Dennis Allen are all but out of the Playoff picture this season with a record of 4 – 8 especially because the

Raiders still have to play these 4 tough games…

At New York Jets
Kansas City Chiefs
At San Diego Chargers
Denver Broncos

Our guess:  Dennis Allen and the Oakland Raiders will finish the 2013 season at…

4 – 12

….which would run Allen’s two-year record at Oakland to:

8 – 24

Could ANY head coach at ANY team in the NFL survive going…

8 – 24

….over two seasons even IF those two seasons were his first two seasons on the job?

NO is the answer to that question and especially NO when you are talking about the Oakland Raiders which have plenty of talent to win at least EIGHT games a season so barring a late season surge it looks like that at least the…

Oakland Raiders

AND

New York Jets

….head coaching jobs will be opening up come December.

Oh, by the way….

The Oakland Raiders play the New York Jets Sunday in New Jersey!

Hot Seat Coach vs. Hot Seat Coach means FUN FOR ALL!

Oh, by the way….the losing Head Coach will of course be on…

No. 1 Hot Seat!

GaryKubian67

3.  Gary Kubiak, Houston Texans – 2013 is Gary Kubiak’s EIGHTH season as the head coach of the Houston Texans and his record includes…

61 Wins

62 Losses

Two Playoff Appearances

…..and now sitting on a 2 – 10 record this year it is hard to imagine that Kubiak will be back to coach the Texans in 2014 unless of course the owners of the Texans are willing to give Gary a pass on a disastrous season that included Kubiak facing a serious medical issue.

Our guess:  The Houston Texans will be looking for a new head football coach come the first of the year.

Oh, by the way, the Houston Texans at 2 – 10 have these four games left on their schedule…

At Jacksonville Jaguars
At Indianapolis Colts
Denver Broncos
At Tennessee Titans

Our guess No. 2: We would be STUNNED if the Houston Texans won another game in 2013.

MikeShanahan4

4.  Mike Shanahan, Washington Redskins – With a somewhat controversial loss to the New York Giants on Sunday night the Redskins are done for the season at it pertains to the Playoffs and now the only important questions left for the Redskins to answer as 2013 winds down are:

Will Robert Griffin III ever be the kind of player for the Redskins he was in 2012 again?

Will Mike Shanahan be back to the coach the Washington Redskins in 2014?

On the first question about RGIII it is our opinion here at Coaches Hot Seat that Griffin should have sat-out at least the first FOUR games of the 2013 NFL season and if were the Redskins right now we would shut RGIII down and let him focus on getting better for 2014.
Just our opinion mind you but then we work in the REAL World not the Fantasy World of NFL owners who egos are bigger than Earth itself as if they have forgotten they are just….

Owners of a football teams

….after all which means you have done LESS YOUR LIFE than a first-year nurse/doctor or someone that has served the American Republic for one-year in the US Military….PERIOD.

As for Mike Shanahan’s future in Washington he has been with the Redskins for FOUR seasons and has put up win/loss record of…

24 – 36

….and took his team to one Playoff appearance and if that good enough for the people making the hiring/firing decisions with the Washington Redskins then that is good enough for us!

Seriously now…

With the amount of money the Washington Redskins are spending right now IF we were the owner of the Redskins we would expect our team at a minimum to be in…

The Playoffs EVERY Season

….which means Shanahan has missed his target….rather our target if we owned the Redskins….in three of the four seasons he has been on the job!

Our guess:  Mike Shanahan has one year left on his contract with the Washington Redskins at…

$7 Million Dollars A Year

….and Shanahan might want to get paid that remaining $7 Million Dollars whether he coaches or the Redskins not so that will make the coming weeks very interesting in Washington DC.

Now at 3 – 9 on the season the Redskins have left to play in 2013….

Kansas City Chiefs
At Atlanta Falcons
Dallas Cowboys
At New York Giants

…..and we would be STUNNED if Washington won another game as the team unravels down the stretch of this lost season in the nation’s capital.

GregSchiano77

5.  Greg Schiano, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – With the Bucs loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday head coach Greg Schiano’s two-year win/loss record in Tampa dropped to…

10 – 18

….and with the Bucs at 3 – 9 in 2013 and with these games remaining to be played…

Buffalo Bills
San Francisco 49ers
At St. Louis Rams
A New Orleans Saints

…..we would guess that will leave the Bucs with a…

4 – 12

….final record this season and then one can only wonder:

Will Greg Schiano be back to coach the Tampa Bay Bucs in 2014?

Probably not if Schiano can get a GOOD college head coaching job and if can’t then the Bucs will have to make a decision on whether they will….

Roll the Dice with Greg Schiano for another season

Fire Greg Schiano and pay him the $10 Million Dollar Plus that is left on his contract

Our guess: Greg Schiano will look into some college jobs and if the right job is not offered to him he will make the Glazers either bring him back or fire him.

LeslieFrazier67

6.  Leslie Frazier, Minnesota Vikings – Leslie Frazier and the Minnesota Vikings got a much-needed win over the Chicago Bears in overtime on Sunday BUT will that win be enough to save Leslie Frazier’s job at Minnesota?

Hard to say BUT in FOUR seasons with the Minnesota Vikings Leslie Frazier has put up records…

19 – 30 – 1

…..and has taken the Vikings to the Playoffs…

ONE TIME

Four seasons with a…

.390 Winning Percentage

….and ONE Playoff Appearance is NOT a very strong resume and maybe the last four games of the season against…

At Baltimore Ravens
Philadelphia Eagles
At Cincinnati Bengals
Detroit Lions

…..will go a long ways in determining whether Frazier will be back to coach the Vikings in 2014.

Our guess:  Leslie Frazier needs AT LEAST….

2 Wins

….in the Vikings last four games to return to coach in Minnesota in 2014 which would still leave his coaching resume with the Vikings very Damn sparse.

JasonGarrett7

7.  Jason Garrett, Dallas Cowboys – We don’t give much credence to beating the Oakland Raiders at home which is why Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett is still sitting firmly on the Hot Seat after the Dallas win over Oakland on Thanksgiving Day and now it is back to Big-Boy Football for the Cowboys with these four games remaining to be played this season:

At Chicago Bears
Green Bay Packers
At Washington Redskins
Philadelphia Eagles

Our guess: Jason Garrett and the Dallas Cowboys will have to WIN OUT to make it into the Playoffs and if the Cowboys don’t make it into the Playoffs this season that will make….

Three Full Seasons on the Job in Dallas AND No Playoff Appearances for Jason Garrett!

That will keep you employed by the Dallas Cowboys?

Oh, that’s right this is the….

DALLAS COWBOYS

…and the DALLAS COWBOYS have not won a game in the Playoffs or Postseason since….

The Dallas Cowboys won Super Bowl XXX in January 1996!

That is 17 Seasons and Counting since the DALLAS COWBOYS have won a game in the Postseason!

And Jerry Jones really believes he is a “great general manager?”

JerryJone2

Memo to Jerry Jones:  IF you believe you are a “great general manager” then you are mentally ill Jerry!

Bozo677

Our opinion here at Coaches Hot Seat:  IF Jerry Jones had hired Bozo the Clown to be the Dallas Cowboys general manager in 1996 the Dallas Cowboys would have at least…

TWO…MAYBE…THREE MORE Super Bowl Titles

Lombardi6

….and would have gone to and won Playoff Games in at least TEN of the last 17 Seasons!

No, Jerry Jones, you have NOT been a “great general manager” for the Dallas Cowboys but rather you have been nothing short of a….

Complete Freaking Disaster

…for the Dallas Cowboys football club.

Our opinion of course which is backed up FACTS and TRUTH.
