NFL Week 16 MUST WIN Games for Head Coaches and Teams

 

Joe Philbin, Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills – Miami still has a good chance to make the Playoffs this season but more than likely the Dolphins will have to win out against…

…..because losses in both of those games would more than likely leave the Dolphins out of the Playoffs and Philbin with a 8 – 8 record in 2013.

The Miami Dolphins SHOULD beat the Bills in this spot and MUST beat the Bills in this spot or Joe Philbin will be headed back to the Hot Seat which is never a fun place to be whether Joe Philbin gets fired from his job in a few weeks OR as a place to be sitting during the entire upcoming offseason!

 

Leslie Frazier, Minnesota Vikings vs. Cincinnati Bengals – It may already be too late for Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier to hold onto his job in Minnesota but it wouldn’t hurt Frazier’s argument if the Vikings could finish with two wins over…

…..and that makes this Bengals game a MUST, MUST WIN for Minnesota and the Cincinnati Bengals in their push for the Playoffs.

 

Greg Schiano, Tampa Bay Bucs vs. St. Louis Rams – Greg Schiano’s two year win/loss record with the Tampa Bay Bucs now stands at….

11 – 19

…..and with games left to be played in 2013 against…

….if Schiano is going to return for the 2014 season and have any momentum going into next year then winning at least one of these last two games is a MUST.

YES…the St. Louis Rams is a MUST WIN Game for Greg Schiano and the Bucs.

 

Rex Ryan, New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns – We rather doubt that Rex Ryan has ANY argument to remain the head coach of the New York Jets with his team missing the Playoffs again this season but for Damn sure if the Jets collapse right now and lose their last two games against…

YES is the answer to that question but for Damn sure win or lose….

Jerry Jones will no doubt still believe he is the “right man” to be the general manager of the Dallas Cowboys!

What must be really depressing for Jerry Jones is that IF Jerry Jones had gone to West Texas in 1997 and shoveled shit for the past 17 NFL Seasons and let someone else run the Cowboys in our opinion here at Coaches Hot Seat….

When one realizes that the organization you own would have been better off if you had been shoveling shit over the past 17 years then that must be a terrible blow but then does anyone really think Jerry Jones would even have the ability to shovel shit properly?

….in three seasons at Tennessee and a 5 – 9 record in 2013 the last thing that Munchak can afford right now is to lose the last two games of the season to….

….and more than likely even one loss in either of these last two games will lead to Munchak losing his job in a few weeks because 10 losses in a season when the Titans were expected to be fighting for a Playoffs spot would not be a good thing!

YES….the Jacksonville Jaguars is a MUST WIN Game for Mike Munchak and the Titans.

 

Tom Coughlin, New York Giants vs. Detroit Lions – Now sitting on a 5 – 9 record and with these games left to play…

…it looks as if the Giants will finish with at least TEN LOSSES in 2013 and barring a Draft Day Miracle or Free Trade Fantasy from what we have seen of this Giants football team they sure the Hell want be any better in 2014 so it looks like Tom Coughlin’s coaching career will go down in flames with back-to-back Ten-Plus Loss seasons not that there is anything wrong with that in New York where it isn’t any longer….

Give Poor Pitiful Tom Coughlin a break because of things he accomplished in the….PAST!

Actually the Detroit Lions is NOT a MUST WIN Game for Tom Coughlin and the New York Giants because Tom Coughlin could go to sleep and completely quit coaching the Giants….which many of us believe he has already done….and keep his job!

Isn’t Communism Great because for Damn sure the New York Giants aren’t run by Americans or Capitalists!
