16 CFB Head Coaches Facing MUST WIN Games In Week 4 – All These Coaches + Teams Need To Take It To the Limit!

16 CFB Head Coaches Facing MUST WIN Games In Week 4 – All These Coaches + Teams Need To Take It To the Limit!

Thanks Randy!

Mike Riley, Nebraska vs. Rutgers – We here at Coaches Hot Seat have only indirectly run into now former Nebraska AD Shawn Eichorst in his athletic department career, but something that was mentioned to us by a Nebraska-alum not long after Eichorst got to Lincoln certainly caught our attention early on in Eichorst’s tenure at UNL. That “something” is perfectly reflected in a note that Eichorst sent to Nebraska Football season ticket holders a couple of years ago which we quote from below:

“What the best administrators and coaches have in common is a consistent commitment to teaching young minds to do things the right way and to instill a values system that emphasizes hard work, discipline, loyalty, teamwork, compassion and excellence. Those principles coupled with a positive attitude generally result in championships.”

The first part of the above Eichorst statement no one could disagree with, but the last sentence….

“Those principles coupled with a positive attitude generally result in championships.”

…goes right to the heart of the problem with Shawn Eichorst in the role of an AD or Leader of ANY organization and that “something” was what was also mentioned to us by the Nebraska alum and that “something” is….

“Coupled with a positive attitude.”

We have nothing against having a “positive attitude” but leaders cannot allow themselves to become isolated from something far more Damn important than platitude and Tony Robbins Horseshit and that “something” is…

The Truth

No make that…

The Truth With the Bark On!

The people at Coaches Hot Seat that run companies are very interested in motivating their employees to both get the best from each them so they can be all they can be AND in the process make the company perform at the highest level possible, but in our opinion Shawn Eichorst when he was the Athletic Director at Nebraska lived in a….

Total Damn Fantasyland

….of his own creation and the hiring of Mike Riley was a piece of building an organization with Nebraska Athletics where THE TRUTH could be hidden beneath a veneer of “always being positive” Tony Robbins Horseshit!

Real Leaders can motivate, can inspire, can lead, can achieve, and can reach goals and win championships and they can do all of that while living in something that in our opinion Shawn Eichorst has No Damn Clue about…

The Real World

…and to some extent the “Golly Gee Whiz” world of Mike Riley as well who is one of the best human beings we have ever run across in sports but who is also one of the Most Average head coaches we have run across as well since he also in our opinion lives in a…

Total Damn Fantasyland

….which is now slowly…and in our opinion…RIGHTLY….being torn down in Lincoln so we can get back to…

Facts, Reality and Bottom-Line Results

…which the Great Folks of the Great State of Nebraska have been known for from the state’s founding!

Yes…Mike Riley MUST BEAT Rutgers on Saturday and we were told today (Thursday) anything less than 10 wins by Riley in 2017 and Nebraska will be looking for a new head football coach by Thanksgiving.

Bravo to the leadership at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, which is one of our favorite places in America, for doing what had to be done…namely the firing of Shawn Eichorst…and if Mike Riley does not perform in 2017 then Riley will rightly be shown the door as well and we will be right there hoping Mike Riley finds another job in coaching or athletic administration because Mike is one Helluva guy that we here at Coaches Hot Seat would do ANYTHING for except take his ass of the Hot Seat!

David Shaw, Stanford vs. UCLA – We said last week that the San Diego State game was a MUST WIN Game for David Shaw and Stanford and the Cardinal went down to San Diego and laid a Total Egg on offense which has been the norm for the Stanford Offense for the last 2+ years and we expect the offensive eggs to keep coming and we say that because several of us at Coaches Hot Seat have been down at Stanford this week as kids get ready to return to school on The Farm for the Fall term and clearly David Shaw has not seen nor does he understand Albert Einstein’s maxim for all-time:

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

Among the 70+ teams in FBS that we know something about their practices during the week we would now rank Stanford Football in the Bottom 10% of practices that actually accomplish something that one can take to games and when you are practicing like Total Crapola it’s no Damn surprise you play like Total Crapola in the game and we expect the Cardinal offense to struggle against UCLA this week again because of that Total Crapola offensive practice.

One of David Shaw’s biggest flaws flows from having played for Bill Walsh during Coach Walsh’s second stint at Stanford from 1992 – 1994 when Coach Walsh was a lot less willing to change or admit he was wrong than his first-time around on The Farm in 1977 – 1978, and we have no doubt just like Bill Walsh….David Shaw will continue to make the same mistakes over and over again because to change would mean David would have to admit he was wrong and Shaw in our opinion would rather see the Earth plunge into the Sun before he would EVER admit he has EVER been wrong about anything!

Yes…UCLA is a MUST WIN Game for David Shaw and Stanford and if The Cardinal loses Shaw will find his ass on the Hot Seat come Monday morning!

Jim Mora, UCLA vs. Stanford – In 6 seasons coaching the UCLA Bruins Jim Mora has done a..

Slightly Better Than Average Job

…in Westwood posting records of…

Overall:  43 – 25

Pac-12:  25 – 20

….but he has never beaten Stanford and with an offense that can score some points Saturday looks like an ideal spot for the Bruins to beat The Cardinal because we rather doubt the Stanford offense could score 30+ points against the Stanford Chess Club so Yes Jimmy…

Stanford is a MUST WIN Game

…but it is also a very Winnable Game for Jim Mora and the Bruins!

Rich Rodriguez, Arizona vs. Utah – Rich Rodriguez in his last 21 games coaching Arizona has posted a record of…

7 – 14

…and that is nothing short of a Total Disaster at Arizona where NO coach should drop below the .500 mark for long over a year-over-year period and thus Rodriguez is now coaching for his job and will need at least 7 wins in 2017 to return to coach the Wildcats in 2018 and one of those 7 wins better include a win over a Pitiful Arizona State Football team that is now reeling in the desert north of Tucson.

Yes…Utah is a MUST WIN Game for Rich Rodriguez and Arizona!

Steve Addazio, Boston College vs. Clemson – We give Boston College NO DAMN CHANCE to beat Clemson in Clemson on Saturday so this is not so much a MUST WIN Game for Steve Addazio as it is just don’t get your ass blown out of the stadium game!

Now at 1 – 2 on the season with these games left to play…

At Clemson
Central Michigan
Virginia Tech
At Louisville
At Virginia
Florida State
NC State
UConn
At Syracuse

…we don’t think there’s a chance in Hell that BC wins 6 games in 2017 barring a miracle from the Heavens so chalk-up Boston College as another head coaching job opening up in late November.

Barry Odom, Missouri vs. Auburn – We haven’t a Damn clue what Mizzou head coach Barry Odom is doing in Columbia but he has to be the most confident man in the world that is from the outside looking in…

Not Doing A Damn Thing

….and with a 5 – 10 overall record and starting the 2017 season at 1 – 2 if the Tigers lose to a very average Auburn team at home on Saturday you can about turn out the lights on the Odom regime at Missouri with these games left to be played:

Auburn
At Kentucky
At Georgia
Idaho
At UConn
Florida
Tennessee
At Vanderbilt
At Arkansas

Our guess….Mizzou Football wins 3 games in 2017 and if the Tigers will less than 5 Barry Odom will be fired in late November and should be fired in late November!

Gus Malzahn, Auburn vs. Missouri – This is very simple for Gus Malzahn and Auburn…

Lose to this Pitiful Damn Missouri Team on Saturday

…and Gus Malzahn’s career as the Auburn head football coach is OVER!

Oh…Malzahn might hang on to coach a few more games if his AU team loses to Mizzou but we will all know the truth….

It’s OVER!

Jim McElwain, Florida vs. Kentucky – Jim McElwain has gotten a Helluva lot of lucky breaks in games his 2+ years at Florida and you know what they say about breaks…they usually even themselves up….and going into the game on Saturday against Kentucky, even with all the suspensions, The Gators have plenty of talent to beat this Wildcats team and thus a loss in this spot will…

Launch Jim McElwain’s rear-end onto the Hot Seat

….with these games still to be played:

Vanderbilt
LSU
Texas A&M
Georgia – Jacksonville
At Missouri
South Carolina
UAB
South Carolina

Now let’s see here….if Bozo the Clown took over for Jim McElwain as the head coach at Florida tomorrow he would end the season with at least…

8 wins

….so let’s see what the Boy From Montana can do and YES Jimmy…

Kentucky is MUST WIN Football Game Son!

Todd Graham, Arizona State vs. Oregon – In our opinion Todd Graham needs 8 wins or 7 wins that includes a win over Arizona to return to coach the Sun Devils in 2018 and with a game against Oregon on Saturday which isn’t looking like a win to us…Hell…it’s looking like a blowout to us….if ASU does lose on Saturday they will fall to…

1 – 3

…on the year with these games still to be played:

At Stanford
Washington
At Utah
USC
Colorado
At UCLA
At Oregon State
Arizona

Geez…it looks like the Arizona State head coaching job will be opening up as well come late November!

Ed Orgeron, LSU vs. Syracuse – The wolves are at the door now and we have to wonder…

Does Ed Orgeron know the wolves are at the door now?

We sure the Hell know that LSU AD Joe Alleva knows that his ass is now on the firing line right now and the wolves will come bursting through to get his ass soon if LSU keeps playing like they did against Mississippi State, and if the wolves come for Alleva they will be coming for Coach O as well so we have a recommendation for Coach O who we think the world of…

Don’t lose to Syracuse or Troy Coach O because if you do…

Your ass will be fired right after the game….right after Joe Alleva’s ass gets fired!

Yes..that is what you would call MUST WIN Games for Coach in the next two weeks because….

The Damn Wolves are at the door Coach O!

David Beaty, Kansas vs. West Virginia – We don’t give Kansas any Damn chance at all to beat West Virginia at home on Saturday or for that matter the Jayhawks winning more than…

2 Games

…in 2017 and if Kansas did only win 2 games in 2017 that would leave Beaty’s record at KU after 3 seasons at….

4 – 32

…and Hell…even at Kansas…when you go 4 – 32 which is a…

.111

…..winning percentage your ass gets fired….right?

RIGHT!

Bret Bielema, Arkansas vs. Texas A&M – The word from our buddies in Arkansas is that this week Hogs head coach Bret Bielema and Arkansas AD Jeff Long finally began to understand how much peril their future careers at the University of Arkansas really are in and that’s a Good Thing because Bielema and Long have up to this point been living in a…

Total Damn Fantasyland

…but now ALL fans of Arkansas Football understand the Beyond Moronic…

$30 Million Dollar-Plus

…contract that AD Long so Stupidly and Unnecessarily gave to Bret Bielema who let’s face FACTS with these records…

Overall:  26 – 27

SEC:  10 – 22

….hasn’t done a Damn Thing at Arkansas that any bum that fell off a train passing through Fayetteville and given the Arkansas head coaching job could have done the last few years and thus this game against Texas A&M on Saturday is Yes a…

MUST WIN Game for Bret Bielema and Arkansas

…but if Arkansas should lose this game then we recommend AD Jeff Long watch the Hell out because he is ass could be out of a job and quick….and if A&M blows out Arkansas for some reason on Saturday….

It’s OVER for both Bielema and Long….OVER before the leaves are off the trees in the Great State of Arkansas!

Kevin Sumlin, Texas A&M vs. Arkansas – The great thing about being Kevin Sumlin right now is that he knows exactly what he needs to do with the Aggies in 2017 to return to coach the Aggies next season…

Win 10+ Games

…and now at 2 – 1 on the season with these games left to played…

Arkansas – Dallas
South Carolina
Alabama
At Florida
Mississippi State
Auburn
New Mexico
At Ole Miss
At LSU

….if A&M loses to Arkansas on Saturday Kevin Sumlin can go ahead and start talking to Realtors about putting his house up for sale come December and YES Arkansas is a MUST WIN Game for Kevin Sumlin and Texas A&M!

Kliff Kingsbury, Texas Tech vs. Houston – For all of the Hullabaloo about Kliff Kingsbury becoming the head football coach at Texas Tech the reality is he has been a…

Below Average Coach

….at Tech posting records of…

Overall:  26 – 26

Big 12:  13 – 23

Sorry Kliff…that is Below Damn Average Son…and if you win less than 7 games in 2017 the reality is the Kliff Kingsbury Show in Lubbock will exit stage left and now at 2 – 0 with these games left to be played…

At Houston
Oklahoma State
At Kansas
At West Virginia
Iowa State
At Oklahoma
Kansas State
Baylor – Dallas
TCU
At Texas

….we don’t see how in the Hell the Red Raiders win 7 games if they don’t beat Houston on Saturday = MUST WIN Game for Kingsbury and Texas Tech!

Lance Leipold, Buffalo vs. FAU – In three seasons as the head coach at Buffalo Lance Leipold has posted records of…

Overall:  8 – 19

MAC:  4 – 12

….and we really don’t think Leipold can survive a third straight losing season and thus why Saturday’s matchup at home against FAU is not only critical it is a MUST WIN Game if Buffalo is going to get to 6+ wins in 2017!

Lane Kiffin, FAU vs. Buffalo – This is simpler than Gus Malzahn beating Missouri for Lane Kiffin and beating Buffalo….

If you lose to Buffalo Son….your ass is going right on the Hot Seat by Monday morning!

Oh that will be great fun so go Buffalo Bulls!

Brian Kelly, Notre Dame vs. Michigan State – Brian Kelly is now coaching on a knife’s edge at Notre Dame not just because his record over the last 16 games coaching the Irish is…

6 – 10

…but also because Kelly’s…

Pompous Arrogant Ass that spun up the Universe in this spare time Act

…is getting very old in South Bend and with that in mind Kelly really can’t lose more than ONE more game in 2017 if he hopes to return to coach the Irish in 2018 so Yes that makes the game against Michigan State a MUST WIN Game for Brian Kelly and Notre Dame!

Post Week 3 Coaches Hot Seat Rankings – Lots of Coaches and Athletic Directors Now On Scorching Hot Seats! – Give These Hot Seat Coaches and ADs Hell Johnny Cash!

Well that was another Helluva week of college football in Week 3 of the 2017 College Football Season and one can only wonder what the coming weeks have in store for everyone….but one thing for sure….head coaches that thought they were safe in their jobs entering the this season are now in serious jeopardy of being out a job come December and not in the previous 10 seasons of Coaches Hot Seat covering college football have we seen so many Athletic Directors who are now on the verge of getting their asses run out of their respective college towns!

Please Mr. Cash let’s give these coaches and ADs a reminder of what the Hot Seat feels like!

Thank You Johnny and away we go to Week 4 of the college football season!

Post Week 3 Coaches Hot Seat Rankings

1.  Todd Graham, Arizona State – After the loss to Texas Tech on Saturday the reality is that in Todd Graham’s last 28 games coaching the Arizona State Sun Devils his team has a posted a record of….

12 – 16

….and there is not a chance in Hell Todd Graham or any coach at Arizona State can survive long with that kind of record on the board especially when one considers that in the last two seasons ASU posted a record of…

6 – 12

…in Pac-12 Conference play which is also a mark that no coach can post and survive in Tempe at for long.

With a 1 – 2 record in 2017 the Sun Devils host Oregon and then play a brutal schedule the rest of the season and if you see 5 more wins out of the below games please let us know what those 5 wins are would you?

Oregon
At Stanford
Washington
At Utah
USC
Colorado
At UCLA
At Oregon State
Arizona

OK….OK…from what we have seen of the Sun Devils in 2017 they might be able to win…

3

…of their last 9 games if they are lucky for a total of 4 wins on the season and from what we have been told anything less than…

SEVEN

…wins which includes a win over Arizona and the Sun Devils will be looking for a new head coach by Thanksgiving!

2.  Mike Riley, Nebraska – There are just some people you run into in life that are in very BIG jobs that in reality just…

Don’t Have A Freaking Clue

….what they are doing having faked their entire lives to climb up the corporate ladder or more to the point the Athletic Director ladder in this case because in our opinion Nebraska Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst…

Doesn’t Have A Damn Clue

…what he is doing because if he did he would have hired an up-and-coming young head coach instead of the 60+ year old Mike Riley who was on the Hot Seat at Oregon State and evidently was hired by Eichorst because he was a “nice guy” because we cannot think one other Damn reason why Riley would have been hired in that spot to coach the Cornhuskers….no not one Damn reason!

Now after the humiliating loss to Northern Illinois at home on Saturday Mike Riley and the Nebraska AD are in a Helluva post because after making a few calls on Sunday to our Nebraska-alum friends in the Omaha area they are expecting 10+ wins by the Cornhuskers in 2017 and are not so much dismayed by the Nebraska loss to Northern Illinois as thinking that may in the end be a good thing because it might lead to as one of them told us….

“Eichorst’s rear-end getting fired and a new AD who will hire a football coach this time around that is both a good guy and someone that can win football games at Nebraska!”

Oh…you get the feeling too that Shawn Eichorst is about to get his ass run right out of Lincoln if the Nebraska football team loses just a couple more games?

Yep…you have the same feeling we got from our good friends in Omaha and looking at the rest of Nebraska’s schedule….

Rutgers
At Illinois
Wisconsin
Ohio State
At Purdue
Northwestern
At Minnesota
At Penn State
Iowa

….we see at least…4…maybe 5…more losses on Nebraska’s schedule the way the Cornhuskers are playing right now and we are now telling anyone that will listen if Mike Riley loses 3 more games at the MOST both Mike Riley and Shawn Eichorst will not be employed by the University of Nebraska by the time Christmas rolls around.

Oh…just for the running record….Mike Riley has now coached 29 games at Nebraska and his win/loss record is…

16 – 13  (.552)

….and below are the records after 29 games of the Nebraska head coaches after Tom Osborne:

Frank Solich:  24 – 5  (.828)

Bill Callahan:  18 – 11  (.621)

Bo Pelini:  21 – 8  (.724)

As anyone can clearly see Mike Riley is 4 th in winning percentage…

Frank Solich:  .829
Bo Pelini:  .724
Bill Callahan:  .621
Mike Riley:  .552

….in the head coaches following the Great Tom Osborne at Nebraska and Riley knows that if he continues along the current path his tenure in Lincoln will not be long.

Reality is now after that loss to NIU if Nebraska loses to Rutgers at home or Illinois on the road Mike Riley and Shawn Eichorst will be fired shortly after that loss….and in our opinion should be fired….because not only is there No Damn Excuse for a head coach at Nebraska losing to Northern Illinois at home in his 29 th game at the school there is No Damn Excuse for Nebraska Football to do anything but crush both the Very Damn Pitiful football teams of Rutgers and Illinois!

3.  Mark Whipple, UMass – Another week another loss for Mark Whipple and his UMass football team….this time to Temple…and Whipple’s record at UMass since he returned to the school in 2014 stands at…

8 – 32

…and with these games left to play in 2017 we rather doubt the Minutemen will win a Damn game this season!

At Tennessee
Ohio
At USF
Georgia Southern
Appalachian State
At Mississippi State
Maine
At BYU
At FIU

Hmmmm….wonder if Mark Whipple finished the 2017 season with a collective record since 2014 of….

8 – 41

…if that would be enough to get Whipple’s ass fired at UMass?

Can you say no one cares or gives a Damn if Whipple gets fired or not which says everything about UMass football right now?

Yep…we can say that for Damn sure!

4.  Kevin Sumlin, Texas A&M – With the win over Louisiana on Saturday Kevin Sumlin did what he does very good which is beat teams that the Aggies should beat and now in Sumlin’s 6 th year on the job in College Station his records stand at:

Overall:  46 – 22

SEC:  21 – 19

Against FBS Teams:  27 – 22

Against Group of 6 and FCS Teams:  20 – 0

As anyone can see Sumlin has padded his record with wins over Lots of Cupcakes and now it’s back to Real Boy Football on Saturday against Arkansas in Dallas in a game that neither head coach can afford to lose with the losing coach being launched on a one-way rocket ship to the Sun!

Now at 2 – 1 on the season looking at the rest of Aggies season….

Arkansas (Dallas)
South Carolina
Alabama
At Florida
Mississippi State
Auburn
New Mexico
At Ole Miss
At LSU

….and we see at least 3 more losses not counting a loss to Arkansas on Saturday and there is not a chance in Hell that Kevin Sumlin could survive a 4+ loss season at Texas A&M in his 6 th year on the job!

5.  Bret Bielema, Arkansas – We have been calling our friends in Arkansas since the Hogs lost to TCU at home in Week 2 and the word we are getting is the folks that have influence and can make things happen in Fayetteville are getting Damn tired of Arkansas AD Jeff Long’s dog and pony making excuse show for Brett Bielema which when you get down it is really…

Jeff Long defending his own decision-making

…which includes…

Hiring Bobby Petrino as head coach at Arkansas
Hiring John L. Smith as interim head coach at Arkansas
Hiring Bret Bielema as head coach at Arkansas

…and if the Arkansas football program continues to falter under Bielema the first person that will be show the door is Jeff Long who will be lucky to get a job shining shoes in an athletic department after what would then be…

THREE major hiring decisions that have brought the Arkansas football program to the brink of a Total Meltdown with a loss to Texas A&M on Saturday

…which would leave Bret Bielema’s record in SEC Conference play at….

10 – 23

…in his 5 th season on the job which is so far beyond Damn Awful that’s Bielema and Company will no longer be able to see Damn Awful if they lose to the Aggies!

Oh here is what Arkansas has left to play this season:

Texas A&M (Dallas)
New Mexico State
At South Carolina
At Alabama
Auburn
At Ole Miss
Coastal Carolina
At LSU
Mississippi State
Missouri

If Arkansas loses to Texas A&M on Saturday we don’t see more than 7 wins for the Hogs in 2017 and there is not a chance in Hell that Bret Bielema can survive only winning 7 wins in his 5 th year as the head coach at Arkansas….unless of course fans of Arkansas Football are willing to accept…

So Damn Pitiful you might as well shutdown your Disgraceful Football Program!

6.  David Beaty, Kansas – If you think that Nebraska AD Shawn Eichorst is right on the edge of getting his ass run right out of Lincoln….

It Is!

…then you check-out Kansas AD Sheahon Zenger who long ago should be fired if the folks running things at the University of Kansas knew their Ass From the Side of a Barn because it’s now Zenger who has hired the last two head football coaches at Kansas…

Charlie Weis
David Beaty

…who combined have posted win/loss records at KU of:

Overall:  9 – 46

Big 12:  2 – 25

Those wins/loss records are OUTRAGEOUS even at KU and if we were the President at the University of Kansas we would fire AD Sheahon Zenger today because there is not a chance in Hell he needs to be in Lawrence to hire the next head football coach at KU because there is going to be a change in head coaches later this season with the Jayhawks still having to play these games this season:

West Virginia
Texas Tech
At Iowa State
At TCU
Kansas State
Baylor
At Texas
Oklahoma
At Oklahoma State

Memo to University of Kansas: This time hire a head coach for the University of Kansas Football Team that is…

Actually Qualified for the Freaking Job

…and there should be NO ONE on the potential coaches hiring list that are not Actually Qualified for the Freaking Job with both Weis and Beaty not remotely qualified to the head coach at a FBS + Big 12 Conference School!

7.  Brian Kelly, Notre Dame – Brian Kelly’s Notre Dame football team beat Boston College on Saturday which is a team that under Steve Addazio has posted a win/loss record of…

25 – 29

….so of course any Average Irish team should whip the BC Eagles and now it’s onto a game…

At Michigan State

…on Saturday which like BC is also a game that Brian Kelly cannot lose because it would continue to send Kelly’s tenure at Notre Dame into a tailspin in a year when the Irish need to win 10+ games if Kelly has any hope of returning to coach ND in 2018.

What is left on Notre Dame’s schedule and can the Irish get 8 more wins at least from the below remaining games?

At Michigan State
Miami (OH)
At North Carolina
USC
NC State
Wake Forest
At Miami
Navy
At Stanford

Our guess…Notre Dame wins 7 or 8 games in 2017 which would be the….

5 of 8 seasons

…that Brian Kelly has won less 9 games in a season and that is….

Below Damn Average

…in South Bend and that is why Brian Kelly now finds himself squarely on the Hot Seat!

8.  Ed Orgeron, LSU – Anyone that thinks that Ed Orgeron can’t be fired in his first full-year on the job at LSU doesn’t understand the mindset of the money LSU folks who just flat-out are not going to tolerate the Tigers to continue to stagnate or fall behind the rest of the SEC Conference and if Orgeron doesn’t win at least 8 games in 2017 not only will Coach O be sent pack by early December, but LSU AD Joe Alleva will also get run out of Baton Rouge on a rail because Orgeron is Alleva’s hire and how Coach O performs the rest of this season will determine both of their future fates.

After the Devastating and Embarrassing whipping that Mississippi State put on LSU the Tigers have left to play in 2017:

Syracuse
Troy
At Florida
Auburn
At Ole Miss
At Alabama
Arkansas
At Tennessee
Texas A&M

Do you see 7 more wins for LSU in 2017 if the Tigers continue to play the way they played against Mississippi State?

Not A Chance In Hell and we have some news for Coach O…..your “dream job” is about to disappear Son if you don’t get off your ass and get your coaches and team off their asses and if you get fired at LSU Coach O your head coaching career at the FBS level will be OVER because no AD with a working brain will hire a coach that can’t win BIG at LSU where any Damn Moron could show up in Baton Rouge tomorrow and for Damn sure could take Mississippi State with a lot less talent to the end of the game instead of getting your ass whipped like the LSU coaches were doing NOTHING all week instead of getting their players ready to play a SEC Conference game!

Don’t lose to pretty decent Syracuse team on Saturday Coach O because if you do both You and Joe Alleva might find your asses out of a job before the Sun rises on Sunday morning in Baton Rouge!

9.  Scottie Montgomery, East Carolina – In two seasons on the job East Carolina head coach Scottie Montgomery has posted records of….

Overall:  3 – 12

AAC : 1 – 7

…after the 47 point loss to Virginia Tech on Saturday and if the current Total Disaster trend continues not only will Scottie Montgomery find his ass out of a job but ECU AD Jeff Compher who fired Ruffin McNeil to hire Scottie Montgomery should be fired as well just for being…

A Total Damn Idiot!

Here is the rest of East Carolina’s schedule this season:

At UConn
USF
Temple
At UCF
BYU
At Houston
Tulane
Cincinnati
At Memphis

East Carolina might win 3 games in 2017….MIGHT…and if ECU only wins 3 games in 2017 which is what Scottie Montgomery won last season that pales in comparison to how many wins a season Ruffin McNeil averaged winning at ECU:

SEVEN!

Forrest Gump said many times that “Stupid Is As Stupid Does” and the reality is this situation at East Carolina is way beyond Stupid and moving into an area that there is no word in the English language for that we describe what is going on in Greenville, North Carolina!

10.  Barry Odom, Missouri – After watching Purdue lay at 35 – 3 whipping on Mizzou on Saturday we here at Coaches Hot Seat are starting to wonder….

Just what in the Hell is Barry Odom doing at Missouri

….because for Damn sure it does not look like he is coaching his football team!

Barry Odom in his second…and may be last….season as the head coach at Missouri where he has now posted records of…

Overall:  5 – 10

SEC:  2 – 7

….and his record against FBS teams now stands at:

3 – 10

…and here is what the Tigers have left to play in 2017:

Auburn
At Kentucky
At Georgia
Idaho
At UConn
Florida
Tennessee
At Vanderbilt
At Arkansas

Memo to Barry Odom:  You better Damn win at least 6 games in 2017 Son or your ass will be out of a head coaching job come December and with games at Kentucky and at Georgia after the home game against Auburn you better Damn beat the Auburn Tigers on Saturday if you hope to find that 6 win mark Coach!

Coaches Hot Seat Quotes of the Day – Sunday, September 17, 2017 – Howard Schultz

HowardSchultz72727

And

“Dream more than others think practical.”

And

“Expect more than others think possible.”

And

“Risk more than others think safe.”

And

“I believe life is a series of near misses. A lot of what we ascribe to luck is not luck at all. It’s seizing the day and accepting responsibility for your future. It’s seeing what other people don’t see And pursuing that vision.”

And

“People want to be part of something larger than themselves. They want to be part of something they’re really proud of, that they’ll fight for, sacrifice for, that they trust.”

And

“There are moments in our lives when we summon the courage to make choices that go against reason, against common sense and the wise counsel of people we trust. But we lean forward nonetheless because, despite all risks and rational argument, we believe that the path we are choosing is the right and best thing to do. We refuse to be bystanders, even if we do not know exactly where our actions will lead.

This is the kind of passionate conviction that sparks romances, wins battles, and drives people to pursue dreams others wouldn’t dare. Belief in ourselves and in what is right catapults us over hurdles, and our lives unfold.

“Life is a sum of all your choices,” wrote Albert Camus. Large or small, our actions forge our futures and hopefully inspire others along the way.”

And

“In this ever-changing society, the most powerful and enduring brands are built from the heart. They are real and sustainable. Their foundations are stronger because they are built with the strength of the human spirit, not an ad campaign. The companies that are lasting are those that are authentic.”

And

“Remember: You’ll be left with an empty feeling if you hit the finish line alone. When you run a race as a team, though, you’ll discover that much of the reward comes from hitting the tape together. You want to be surrounded not just by cheering onlookers but by a crowd of winners, celebrating as one.”

And

“To stay vigorous, a company needs to provide a stimulating and challenging environment for all these types: the dreamer, the entrepreneur, the professional manager, and the leader. If it doesn’t, it risks becoming yet another mediocre corporation.”

And

“People want guidance, not rhetoric. They need to know what the plan of action is, and how it will be implemented. They want to be given responsibility to help solve the problem and authority to act on it.”

And

“There is a word that comes to my mind when I think about our company and our people. That word is ‘love.’ I love Starbucks because everything we’ve tried to do is steeped in humanity.

Respect and dignity.
Passion and laughter.
Compassion, community, and responsibility.
Authenticity.

These are Starbucks’ touchstones, the source of our pride.”

And

“There’s a metaphor Vincent Eades likes to use: “If you examine a butterfly according to the laws of aerodynamics, it shouldn’t be able to fly. But the butterfly doesn’t know that, so it flies.”

And

“One of the fundamental aspects of leadership, I realized more and more, is the ability to instill confidence in others when you yourself are feeling insecure”

And

“It’s one thing to dream, but when the moment is right, you’ve got to be willing to leave what’s familiar and go out to find your own sound.”

And

“Every step of the way, I made a point to underpromise and overdeliver. In the long run, that’s the only way to ensure security in any job.”

And

“Treat people like family, and they will be loyal and give their all. Stand by people, and they will stand by you. It’s the oldest formula in business, one that is second nature to many family-run firms. Yet in the late 1980s, it seemed to be forgotten.”

And

“While Wall Street has taught me a lot, its most enduring lesson is an understanding of just how artificial a stock price is. It’s all too easy to regard it as the true value of your company, and even the value of yourself.”

And

“At a certain stage in a company’s development, an entrepreneur has to develop into a professional manager. That often goes against the grain.”

And

“Whatever you do, don’t play it safe. Don’t do things the way they’ve always been done. Don’t try to fit the system. If you do what’s expected of you, you’ll never accomplish more than others expect.”

And

“It’s seizing the day and accepting responsibility for your future. It’s seeing what other people don’t see, and pursuing that vision no matter who tells you not to.”
