In the Summer of 2018 about a dozen of us here at Coaches Hot Seat took 7 RVs from San Francisco to Boston via the Southern United States on a 10 week trip and we spent 5 days parked near Dollywood around Gatlinburg, Tennessee where we met up with about a dozen Tennessee Vols fans at dinner one night we met over the years and asked then what they expected out of Jeremy Pruitt and to a person they all said then….

Anyone else got that Tennessee hasn’t beat ANYONE in 2020 which brings us back to right now so we in the past week reached out to the Tennessee Vols fans we met up with outside Dollywood over dinner one night what they think of Jeremy Pruitt now and where Tennessee Football is going in the future and one fellow summed up the general sentiment of that group best >

“We are no better today than we were 3 years ago when Pruitt got here and we may be worse.”

Just our humble opinion looking at Tennessee Football from Butch Jones last season to today we would say….

4.  Tom Herman, Texas – We have seen some Stupid Shit coaching searches over the years but Texas AD Chris Del Conte public wooing of Urban Meyer for Texas job with multiple people in Texas Athletic Department leaking things to folks in Texas media about the potential for Meyer to be the next Head Coach of Longhorns may be the Biggest Stupid Shit Coaching or Non-Coaching Search we seen in 50+ years on Earth!

If your ass thinks that Tom Herman needs to be replaced and you talk to someone like an Urban Meyer and it becomes widely known in the media….as it did…then your ass cannot then suddenly turn around when Meyer isn’t interested and keep Tom Herman in the job because you made it clear….
