Mark Dantonio and Michigan State in 2008

Year 1 for Mark Dantonio at Michigan State was filled with big wins (Notre Dame, Purdue, and Penn State), close losses (Wisconsin, Ohio State, Iowa, and Boston College), and one amazing letdown (Northwestern).  With Michigan changing head football coaches, Notre Dame down, and the Big Ten on the front-end of a major upswing, Dantonio must take advantage of the current situation to establish the Spartans as a major player in the conference.  2008 should be an interesting year for Dantonio and Michigan State, and here is how we see the season playing out:

  1. It is a wonderful opportunity for him this season. Sharp as he is, he should come up with plans to take advantage of it.
