Houston Nutt and Ole Miss in 2008
Posted on April 2nd, 2008 by Joe
One of the most interesting stories of 2008 will be what Houston Nutt does at Ole Miss. One thing is certain, Nutt is a much better head football coach than Ed Orgeron, and no doubt Nutt’s impact will be felt early within the Rebel football program. Here is our take on the 2008 Ole Miss season:

I’d be surprised if he lasted 4 seasons.
good luck with this joker, Old Miss. Hope you like running it up the middle
I almost feel sorry for the OM fans
I have never ever felt any pity for Ole Miss…………until now.
Hope you guys don’t wait 10 years to realize the dork is just a Used Car Saleman, and blames everyone else but himself for things that don’t go right.
averaging 5.4 wins a year as OM is, i would LOVVVE to have Dale as my coach, the SEC west bottom feeders have finally found each other, BROTHER!
It’s funny how Arkansas fans forget the years before Nutt arrived; the Jack Crowe / Danny Ford years—losing seasons, loss to the Citadel, NCAA probation—and how Nutt turned the program around; they just don’t realize what they had with Nutt.
Of course, this is the same school that has a fanbase that also ran off two other good coaches, Lou Holtz and Ken Hatfield.
Hope they enjoy Petrino, the guy who left a complete and total mess behind at Louisville, and who completely failed in the pros and took the coward’s way out.
