We Would Like To Apologize To the SCUM OF THE EARTH For Comparing You To the 31 NFL Owners In This Blog Last Week Because Clearly The 31 NFL Owners Are MUCH WORSE Than the SCUM OF THE EARTH! – We Can Only Wonder…Will the 31 NFL Owners Destroy the Integrity of the NFL To Put A Few Pieces of Silver In Their Pockets When They Are Already Some of the Richest People in the World?…..It Seems So! – Yes, There Is A Special Corner Of Hell Reserved For These NFL Owner Bastards and All That Money Will Do You No Damn Good In Hell! – The Longest Yard, Burt Reynolds And Why It Is Usually Worth It To Pop A Selfish Rich Bastard In the Mouth! – Results of the 15 Week 4 MUST Win Games For Coaches and Teams

First off after watching the Debacle of the NFL Replacement Refs over the past few weeks and especially in Week 3 and the game last night between Green Bay and Seattle….

NFL got what it deserved, but does it care?, Kevin Seifert, ESPN.com

we would like to apologize to ALL of the….

SCUM OF THE EARTH

…around the world because we unfortunately compared the 31 NFL Owners (Green Bay Packers have lots of owners called the shareholders of the team) to YOU the…

SCUM OF THE EARTH

…in a recent blog post here at Coaches Hot Seat…

Mike Florio Reports That The SCUM OF THE EARTH Otherwise Known As the 32 NFL Owners Are Still NOT Negotiating With the Regular Locked-Out NFL Referees Which Makes Sense Since These Sorry Excuses for Americans and Human Beings Are Too Busy Doing What They Love More Than Life Itself….Counting Their $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ – Yes, Sitting on the Hot Seat In HELL For Eternity Doesn’t Sound Like Much Fun!, Coaches Hot Seat Blog, September 2012

…and clearly the 31 NFL Owners (from Wikipedia)….

….are much worse than the SCUM OF THE EARTH and thus our sincerest of apologies to ALL of the SCUM OF THE EARTH for our stupid mistake.

The last time the NFL Owners (and NFL players) were making fools of themselves last year when they were negotiating a new contract between the league and the players we wrote about the hubris and arrogance of NASCAR in a blog post here at Coaches Hot Seat….

College Football Should Heed the Lessons of NASCAR and Other Sports That Lost Their Way and Have Lost Some of Their Fans In Recent Years – There Is Danger In All These Scandals In College Football and Leading Head Coaches Reported To Be Lying To His Bosses and the NCAA Is A Very Bad Thing – Desmond Howard and “Today’s Entitled Athlete” – Right on Target There Desmond – America Is Becoming “Entitlement Nation” and That Is A Very Bad Thing For Our Country’s Future – Ohio State AD and Making “Excuses” For Ohio State Student-Athletes – Remember the 1970s Gene? – Good, They Don’t Compare In Any Way To Right Now….The 70s Were Much Worse! – Good Friend, Starbucks and Student-Athletes Working To Help Pay For THEIR College Education – The Three Signs of A Miserable Job, Coaches Hot Seat Blog, May 2011

….and the NFL Owners who are some of the Biggest Pompous Arrogant Asses alive on Planet Earth today and who also believe to a Man and Woman that they are God’s Gift to Planet Earth and that all of us peons should bow down before the Great Pompous Arrogant Asses should heed the lessons of NASCAR and make sure they don’t tarnish the NFL for a few pieces of silver BUT then let’s just face FACTS:

The vast majority of the 31 NFL Owners would SELL-OUT their own children and grandchildren if they thought they could turn an extra Buck doing it so NOTHING really surprises about what the NFL Owners do because they like lots of other rich people in America are a…

CANCER

…upon the nation as they pursue money and power to the exclusion of EVERYTHING ELSE and for those Christians, Catholics and Jews among the 31 NFL Owners there is no doubt in our minds that there is a nice little corner of Hell waiting for all of the Bullshit they have pulled over their lives including locking-out the regular NFL referees over what is little more than tipping money for these Sorry Bastards.

YES, ALL 31 of you NFL Owners can…

GO TO HELL!

…and by coincidence that is exactly where you are going to…HELL…eventually….although in the meantime you will have a few extra Bucks in your pockets and be proud of that although…..all that extra $$$$$$$ will do you little good in…

HELL!

One can only wonder what goes through the minds of the ultra-rich in America which reminds us of a lunch we had a couple of years ago in Aspen, Colorado with one of  America’s very Damn rich men who was regaling a few of us that lunch about his home in the Hamptons (Long Island, New York), his home in La Jolla, California, a castle in Europe and his several homes in the Aspen area not to mention his fleet of high-priced cars that were scattered all over the world and after lunch as we were walking back home one of us said what all of us were thinking:

CHS Member:  “That guy owns several companies that employ people that make either the minimum wage or at very low wages and he is living like a medieval king with homes all over the world and a few dozen cars worth millions of Dollars. Do you think he ever thinks for a second that he might share his wealth with his low paid employees that have helped him make all that money?”

CHS Member  No. 2: “I bet it has NEVER crossed his mind.”

CHS Member No. 3:  “I know it has NEVER crossed his mind because I have heard him make fun of his low paid employees on more than one occasion.”

CHS Member:  “And that sound you hear is the end of the American Republic as money becomes more important than life itself even when you have more money, more homes and more cars than you could ever use or drive.”

CHS Member No. 2:  “One can only wonder…..

CHS Member:  “Yes?”

CHS Member No. 2:  “Who or rather what kind of person raised that Sorry SOB?”

CHS Member:  “Solve that question and you can save the Republic because the parents in our generation….especially the wealthy parents…are raising even bigger brats that are being told on a daily basis they are “special” and that they can do whatever the Hell they want and even trample people in the process of achieving “success.”

CHS Member No. 1:  “Maybe one of us should have….

CHS Member:  “Yes?”

CHS Member No. 1:  “Knocked that Sorry SOB out!”

CHS Member:  “Oh, a victory for Man….BUT…..a monetary windfall for his attorneys that would be suing your ass for years to come!”

CHS Member No. 1:  “What was it Burt Reynolds character in the Longest Yard asked the old man in prison about popping the warden and whether it was worth it or not and what did the old man in prison answer?”

CHS Member:  “It was worth every GD second!”

CHS Member No. 1:  “YES, it would be worth it to pop that Sorry SOB!”

We are guessing there are Millions of Fans of the NFL that would like to pop these Sorry NFL Owner Bastards in the mouth and it would be worth every GD second of them suing ALL of our collective asses!

Speaking of the NFL we join everyone else in the world of sports in recognizing the passing of the Great Steve Sabol of NFL Films who in many ways with his father shaped how we viewed and came to love the Great Game of Football.

Every once in awhile when our children start complaining about how tough life is we remind them of the good ole’ days in the 1960s and 1970s when we were growing up when there were…

3 Channels on the TV

No Remote Controls

No Cable or Satellite TV

No Internet

No Cell Phones

No Microwaves

No Computers

…and all manner of other things that we didn’t have that are assumed to be just “part of life” in the 21 st century BUT one thing we did have in the 1960s and 1970s was the Sabols and NFL Films which through their great work greatly expanded the amount of highlights we saw from other NFL games each week and also taught us a Helluva lot about what went on inside the game of football.

One of our favorite NFL Films clips is the one below about the Great Vince Lombardi and how Damn ironic it is that the Green Bay Packers get jobbed in a game during the same week that Steve Sabol dies because the 31 NFL Owners are such Cheap Bastards that they believe putting a few extra Bucks in their pockets is more important than the integrity and safety of the NFL and professional football.

RIP Steve Sabol and Thank You for a Life Well Lived

The Great Vince Lombardi, NFL Films (Memo to NFL Owners:  Watch the below video to learn about what the NFL is REALLY ALL ABOUT you Sorry Bastards and it ISN’T YOU!)

And as for you 31 NFL Owners you can of course again…

GO TO HELL!

Results of Coaches Hot Seat Week 4 MUST Win Games for Coaches and Teams

Coaches Hot Seat identified 15 Week 4 MUST Win Games for Coaches and Teams and here is how those games played out….

8 Coaches and Teams WON Their Week 4 MUST Win Games

7 Coaches and Teams LOST Their Week 4 MUST Win Games

8 Coaches and Teams That WON Their Week 4 MUST Win Games

Will Muschamp, Florida BEAT Kentucky – Will Muschamp and the Florida Gators were workmanlike in their win over Kentucky and Florida’s 4 – 0 start gives the Gators the opportunity to play what now looks like an LSU team that can beat especially on the road in Gainesville in The Swamp on October 6. If we were Florida head coach Will Muschamp we would be working on ways to get to LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger because it looks like when Zach gets some pressure LSU is a very vulnerable football team.

Bret Bielema, Wisconsin BEAT UTEP – We saw a good bit of the UTEP – Wisconsin game on Saturday and the Badgers struggled against a team in UTEP that just recently got blasted by Ole Miss 28 – 10 who in turn got blasted by Texas in Oxford 66 – 31 which leads us to believe that Wisconsin is not that great of a football team and luckily for the Badgers they enter Powder Puff Conference play on Saturday (Big Ten Conference play) against Nebraska and Lincoln and we were wondering….

If someone placed 1000 eggs on the field before the game between Wisconsin and Nebraska would ANY of those eggs be broken at the end of the game?

NOT VERY LIKELY!

Maybe instead of playing a football game Wisconsin and Nebraska should just have a tea party to see which team can make the best tea and cookies who would then be declared the winner and no doubt the tea cups tapping each other during the Cornhuskers – Badgers tea party would be more hits than will happen during the entire game between Wisconsin and Nebraska on Saturday!

Mike Riley, Oregon State BEAT UCLA – Mike Riley and his Beavers are playing some solid football in 2012 and that win on Saturday over UCLA was both impressive and it got Mike Riley off the Hot Seat and now the task for Riley, his coaches and the Oregon State players is to immediately refocus on what will be a very tough game on the road at Arizona in Week 5. Rich Rodriguez and his Arizona Wildcats will be chomping at the bit to put the debacle against Oregon behind them with a win over Oregon State and that means this Arizona – Oregon State should be a great one with two teams that both will be desperate for a win and too bad that DirecTV subscribers around the country will miss the game because we have immature and greedy children running both the Pac-12 Conference and DirecTV!

Bill O’Brien, Penn State BEAT Temple– Bill O’Brien and Penn State got a nice win over Temple in State College, PA on Saturday and if O’Brien wants to turn 2012 into what it must be for Penn State football…a building block for the revitalization of the PSU football program….then a .500 record or better is a MUST in Big Ten play and with Big Ten football looking weaker everyday that might not be that hard of a task. First up….Illinois in Champaign this Saturday which just got beat by WAC Conference team La Tech!

Dave Christensen, Wyoming BEAT Idaho – Whew that was close! After starting the season at 0 – 3 the Wyoming Cowboys had to go into overtime to beat hapless Idaho on the road and now at 1 – 3 on the season things don’t get any easier with a road trip to play Nevada up next.

Lane Kiffin, USC BEAT California – Lane Kiffin is telling anyone that will listen that he could care less about statistics and the only thing he cares about is wins which is essentially RIGHT Lane….BUT….the performance of individual players and the team and the statistics they produce throughout the season can be very important teaching and future goal setting points for any football team whether they are GOOD, BAD or INDIFFERENT and right now from where we sit the 2012 USC football team does not look like what…

USC Football

…should look like. We could point out the three glaring weaknesses and two big mistakes we see in USC football but what would be the point in that with so much football to be played in 2012?

Very simply:  USC Football MUST get better or they are going to lose 1, 2 or even 3 of their remaining games this season…

At Utah
At Washington
Colorado
At Arizona
Oregon
Arizona State
At UCLA
Notre Dame

…and ANYTHING less than 10 Wins with the amount of talent on this USC football team would be a major underachievement.

Coach hard Lane!

Derek Dooley, Tennessee BEAT Akron – Derek Dooley DID what he HAD TO DO on Saturday by getting a WIN over Akron and now at 3 – 1 on the season one of the biggest games of Derek Dooley’s young coaching career is up next with a game at Georgia and this game against the Dawgs is so Damn important because of what comes next:

At Mississippi State
Alabama
At South Carolina
Troy
Missouri
At Vanderbilt
Kentucky

YES, Tennessee should be able to get to at least 6 Wins in 2012 even with a loss to Georgia on Saturday BUT if the Vols lose to Georgia there has to be a very good chance they drop their next 3 games at Mississippi State, Alabama and at South Carolina which would put Tennessee at…

3 – 5

…with 4 games left to play and with Dooley badly NEEDING 6 wins and a trip to a bowl game to both keep his job and build some momentum for 2013 there is a very good reason we and lots of other people call it the HOT SEAT!

Bobby Hauck, UNLV BEAT Air Force – Bobby Hauck and his UNLV Rebels got a nice win over Air Force on Saturday to get their first win of the year to go to 1 – 3 on the season BUT things don’t get ANY easier with these remaining games:

At Utah State
At La. Tech
Nevada
At Boise State
At San Diego State
New Mexico
At Colorado State
Wyoming
At Hawaii

Wow! That is one tough schedule and with Hauck and UNLV badly needing at least 6 wins in 2012 to get to some kind of bowl game to get any kind of momentum going for the UNLV football program each and every game will be vital to achieving that goal.

7 Coaches and Teams That LOST Their Week 4 MUST Win Games

Joker Phillips, Kentucky LOST TO Florida – No matter who is coaching Kentucky football it will probably NEVER be easy to win a game against Florida in The Swamp and the Gators beating UK 38 – 0 proved that point in spades. Now at 1 – 3 on the season Kentucky has these brutal game remaining minus the Samford game in Week 11:

South Carolina
Mississippi State
At Arkansas
Georgia
At Missouri
Vanderbilt
Samford
At Tennessee

Hell, Phillips and Kentucky should forget about the above games except for what is up next….

Steve Spurrier and the South Carolina Gamecocks

….and there is ALWAYS one consistent weakness with any Spurrier-coached team and that is a weakness that Phillips and the Kentucky coaching staff must exploit if they want any chance to win this game. Memo to Kentucky coaching staff: Take a look at the Auburn – South Carolina game from 2011

Kirk Ferentz, Iowa LOST TO Central Michigan – After Kirk Ferentz and his Iowa football lost to woeful Central Michigan at HOME on Saturday here is a little factoid for fans of Iowa football:

Over the LAST TEN Games the Iowa Hawkeyes are…

4 – 6

…and Powder Puff (Big Ten) play for 2012 hasn’t even started yet for Iowa with Minnesota coming to Iowa City this Saturday in a MUST, MUST WIN Game for Kirk Ferentz and the Hawkeyes.

If Iowa loses to Minnesota that would be BIG trouble because up next is…

At Michigan State
Penn State
At Northwestern
At Indiana
Purdue
At Michigan
Nebraska

….and we rather doubt that Iowa could even win 4 of their last 7 games to even get to the pitiful goal of making a bowl game and since this fellow….Howdy Doody…..

…could get Iowa to a bowl game EVERY YEAR with a $1 Dollar a year in salary why in the Hell would Iowa pay Kirk Ferentz almost $4 Million Dollars to do what Howdy Doody could do easily?

Charlie Weis, Kansas LOST TO Northern Illinois – It seems like the good ole’ days here at Coaches Hot Seat with Charlie Weis on the HOT SEAT and Pete Carroll running around the football field during games again!

Charlie Weis’ records at Notre Dame and Kansas are…

Overall: 36 – 30
Big 12: 0 – 1

…and with these teams remaining on the Kansas schedule….

At Kansas State
Oklahoma State
At Oklahoma
Texas
At Baylor
At Texas Tech
Iowa State
At West Virginia

….there is a decent chance that Kansas might not win another game in 2012 UNLESS they start playing a lot better football.

Up next a MUST Win Game at Kansas State!

Good Luck Charlie!

Robb Akey, Idaho LOST TO Wyoming – Robb Akey and Idaho are now 0 –4 after their tough overtime loss to Wyoming and with these games remaining…

At North Carolina
New Mexico State
At Texas State
At La. Tech
San Jose State
At BYU
Texas San Antonio
At Utah State

…it looks like ANOTHER losing season for Idaho football.

Jeff Tedford, California LOST TO USC – When you are coaching at a place where SIX WINS is GOLDEN as Jeff Tedford is at Cal there may not be any MUST Win Games on the schedule BUT if you can’t even win SIX GAMES at Cal then you might just lose your ICONIC status and now at 1 – 3 on the season Tedford and the Golden Bears must be looking at these remaining games…

Arizona State
UCLA
At Washington State
Stanford
At Utah
Washington
Oregon
At Oregon State

…and wondering how they are going to GET GOLDEN by finding 5 wins out of their next 8 games especially with Arizona State and UCLA coming to Berkeley over the next two weekends which are games that a coach in his 11 th season at California SHOULD NEVER LOSE against two first-year coaches that took over struggling football programs.

YES, Arizona State is a MUST WIN Game for Jeff Tedford and Cal!

Gene Chizik, Auburn LOST TO LSU – Auburn gets a badly needed week off after starting the season at 1 – 3 with losses to Clemson, Mississippi State and LSU and an overtime win over La. Monroe and now Chizik’s Tigers face these remaining games…

Arkansas
At Ole Miss
At Vanderbilt
Texas A&M
New Mexico State
Georgia
Alabama A&M
At Alabama

….and Auburn should be favored over Arkansas, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, New Mexico State and Alabama A&M which should be 7 WINS total on the year which would get Auburn to a bowl game BUT is a 7 WINS and a bowl game going to make the Auburn folks happy especially with Alabama and Nick Saban on the march to another National Title?

Not a chance in Hell!

Right now Gene Chizik and Auburn NEED WINS starting with a WIN over Arkansas on October 6 and then if Auburn can reel off wins over Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and New Mexico State the Tigers would be…

6 – 3

…when Georgia showed up at Jordan-Hare Stadium on November 10 and if Auburn can play LSU to a two point game at home then they can certainly BEAT the Bulldogs at home.

Throw in the sure win over Alabama A&M in Week 11 and Auburn COULD BE…

8 – 3

….when they travel to play Alabama in Tuscaloosa on November 24 BUT the above scenario ONLY HAPPENS IF Auburn starts playing a Helluva lot better football on both sides of the ball with a special emphasis on finding a way to get some offensive yards running the ball.

John L. Smith, Arkansas LOST TO Rutgers – While watching the DEBACLE that was the Green Bay Packers – Seattle Seahawks game on Monday night we had a debate here at Coaches Hot Seat on whether or not the “Powers That Be” at the University of Arkansas would even want the Hogs to get to SIX WINS in 2012 and go to a bowl game when that will clearly be the same time they will be hiring a new head football coach who also will probably have a team in a bowl game.

Now at 1 – 3 on the year and with these games remaining…

At Texas A&M
At Auburn
Kentucky
Ole Miss
Tulsa
At South Carolina
At Mississippi State
LSU

….it is probably a moot question on whether the “Powers That Be” would want Arkansas to go to a bowl game or not because if Arkansas wins more than 4 games in 2012 we would be shocked!

After we decided that Arkansas will probably win about 4 games in 2012 we called our buddy in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and after putting him on the speaker phone we asked him what he thought about Arkansas going to a bowl game or not this season and he responded after thinking it over for what was about a minute or so of dead silence:

Ft. Smith, Arkansas Buddy:  “The coach I want will have his team in the postseason and it is probably best if Arkansas wins less than 6 games and just puts up the equipment for the winter after losing to LSU on the day after Thanksgiving (November 23) and then we allow our new coach to finish coaching his team through the postseason and report to Arkansas just after the New Year.”

Coaches Hot Seat:  “And who would that coach you want be?”

Ft. Smith Arkansas Buddy:  “Not saying….although I think his name would surprise a lot of folks around these parts.”

Coaches Hot Seat:  “Well, when we put out our Top 25 Head Coaches “Ready To Step-Up To Something Bigger” and Top 25 Assistant Coaches “Ready To Step-Up To Something Bigger” after Week 6 will you let us know if he is on our list?”

Ft. Smith Arkansas Buddy:  “Oh, I have no doubt he will be your list!”

Coaches Hot Seat:  “Then we know who it is. Is it…..”

Ft. Smith Arkansas Buddy:  “Hey, I have to go and get back to this sorry excuse for NFL football on Monday Night Football! Goodbye!”
