San Francisco Giants EXPLODE In Game 1 of the World Series – The San Francisco 49ers Offense and QB Alex Smith – Week 9 Coaches Hot Seat MUST WIN Games for Coaches and Teams
The San Francisco Giants EXPLODE In Game 1 of the World Series
Many people said that Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander was unbeatable in the postseason BUT Justin Verlander has not pitched against the…
SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS
…and on Thursday night in Game 1 of the World Series the final score in the Verlander vs. The Giants matchup was…
Giants – 8
Tigers – 3
…and the “great” Justin Verlander DID NOT make it even to the FIFTH inning!
As always we look forward here at Coaches Hot Seat and to Game 2 of the World Series which pits….
Doug Fister of the Detroit Tigers
Vs.
Madison Bumgarner of the San Francisco Giants
….Doug Fister is another pitcher that many people say cannot be hit on and to that we can only say….
Doug Fister…..MEET THE SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS!
As for San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner who was unbelievable in the Giants 2010 run to a World Series Title Bumgarner has struggled in recent starts and we hear people in San Francisco talk about his release, his motion, his stride, etc….BUT…what Madison Bumgarner needs to go back to doing is what he does BEST and this doing what the Great Greg Maddux used to do such great success and that is…
Change speeds, pitch inside and outside, pitch up and down and get ahead in the count and get the batters off-balance.
Madison Bumgarner has gotten away from focusing on “pitching” and has been worried about his motion and release point and all kind of other Bullshit and it is time for Bumgarner to….
JUST PITCH!
Give ‘em Hell Madison Bumgarner!
Give the Detroit Tigers HELL on Thursday night GIANTS!
The San Francisco 49ers offense and QB Alex Smith
After spending the last couple of weeks in San Francisco a few of us have been poking around to see what is behind the lackluster performance of the 49ers offense in 2012 and our intelligence work has resulted in the following conclusion:
49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh and offensive coordinator Greg Roman have a Helluva offensive playbook that rivals the Bill Walsh offensives with San Francisco BUT there is ONE BIG DIFFERENCE between those two teams and that ONE BIG DIFFERENCE is that Bill Walsh coached…
Joe Montana and Steve Young at QB
AND
Alex Smith is the current 49ers QB
Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman need to face the FACT that Alex Smith is a solid quarterback BUT he is not Montana OR Young and what Harbaugh and Roman should be focused on is calling the plays that Alex Smith can run the best and with the most efficiency and looking over the playcalling by Harbaugh and Roman in the 49ers seven games in 2012 they have gotten away from what Alex Smith does best and have had him doing things he doesn’t do that well in about 50 percent of the non-running plays.
Bottom-Line: Jim Harbaugh and Greg Roman need to let Alex Smith be Alex Smith and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to look over Alex Smith’s performance over the past two seasons to quickly find out what plays Alex Smith executes the best on and which plays he just does not have the physical ability to pull off.
The San Francisco 49ers play the Arizona Cardinals in a critical Monday Night matchup on this coming Monday night and it is past time for Harbaugh and Roman to put away their super-egos and attitudes and start calling the BEST PLAYS to win the game instead of trying to empty a playbook on national TV.
Hey, how about the San Francisco Giants WIN the World Series and the San Francisco 49ers WIN the Super Bowl THIS YEAR!
Now that’s a Helluva goal to shoot for!
Week 9 Coaches Hot Seat MUST Win Games for Coaches and Teams
Dabo Swinney, Clemson vs. Wake Forest – Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney is in no danger of being fired BUT Swinney had made a habit of losing to teams that Clemson should NOT lose to…
2011 – LOSSES to Georgia Tech, NC State
2010 – LOSSES to Miami, North Carolina, Boston College
2009 – LOSSES to Georgia Tech TWICE
….and that is a habit that Swinney and Clemson MUST BREAK if they are to become an elite football program again starting with Wake Forest on Thursday night and then games against Duke, Maryland and NC State over the next four weeks.
Very simply: A Clemson LOSS to Wake Forest would be a Disaster.
Bob Stoops, Oklahoma vs. Notre Dame – With the undefeated Irish rolling into Norman, Oklahoma this Saturday THE QUESTION relative to Bob Stoops and the Sooners MUST be asked:
“Will Bob Stoops and his Oklahoma football team CHOKE AGAIN on the BIG stage?”
In 14 seasons at Oklahoma Bob Stoops has already put together a sure-fire College Football Hall of Fame coaching career BUT since the Sooners won the Bogus BCS national title in 2000 the Sooners under Stoops have been involved in some of the BIGGEST CHOKE JOBS in college football in the last 50 years including LOTS of games where Oklahoma had much more talent than the teams they LOST to….
2001 – The 16 – 13 LOSS to Oklahoma State on November 24 in Norman which took the Sooners out of the running for a second straight Bogus BCS national title.
2002 – The November 9 LOSS to Texas A&M in College Station AND the November 30 LOSS to Oklahoma State in Stillwater.
2003 – After finishing the regular season 12 – 0 Oklahoma got DESTROYED by Kansas State in the Big 12 title game 35 – 7 as Bob Stoops stood helpless on the sidelines to do anything as his team got its ass whipped. Since the Bogus BCS system was in place then even after the Sooners got their asses whipped by Kansas State they still played for the Bogus BCS national title against LSU and got beat 21 – 14 which was two disastrous losses in a row for Stoops and OU to end the 2003 – 04 season.
2004 – After finishing the 2004 regular season at 12 – 0 Oklahoma again played for the Bogus BCS national title against USC in the Orange Bowl and got destroyed by the Trojans 55 – 19.
2005 – An opening season loss in Norman to TCU was followed up by the Sooners getting destroyed by UCLA at the Rose Bowl and then destroyed by Texas in the Red River Shootout two weeks later. Later in the season on November 19 Oklahoma got beat by Texas Tech in Lubbock which led to a very disappointing 7 – 4 regular season record.
2006 – After Oklahoma got ripped-off by the Pac-12 officials in a LOSS at Oregon on September 16 the Sooners lost to Texas 28 – 10 in the Red River Shootout which led to a 11 – 2 regular season record and set Oklahoma up for a Fiesta Bowl game against Boise State and as they say the rest is Major College Football History!
2007 – In Week 5 Oklahoma LOST to a Colorado team in Boulder which was a Buffs team that ended up with a 6 – 6 regular season record and then Oklahoma LOST again to Texas Tech in Lubbock and then to a Rich Rodriguez-less West Virginia team in the Fiesta Bowl.
2008 – After losing to Texas in the Red River Shootout the Sooners ended up coming out ahead in a three-way tie in the Big 12 South division between Oklahoma, Texas and Texas Tech which led to the Sooners playing in and winning the Big 12 title game BUT which also led to Oklahoma getting smothered in the Bogus BCS national championship game against Florida.
2009 – Oklahoma opened the season in Dallas and with a loss against BYU and then in Week 4 lost to a very mediocre team in Miami which was followed by another loss to Texas in the Red River Shootout and then to end the season the Sooners lost to both Nebraska and Texas Tech on the road and ended up with a 7 – 5 regular season record.
2010 – Oklahoma looked to a national title contender in 2010 but two losses on road at Missouri and Texas A&M and a close win over Nebraska in the Big 12 title game led to a 11 – 2 regular season record and a win over a very mediocre Connecticut team in the Fiesta Bowl.
2011 – After an early season win over Florida State in Tallahassee the Sooners were rolling until Tommy Tuberville and Texas Tech won a rain-delayed game against Oklahoma in Norman in Week 8 and then in Week 11 the Sooners defense just crumbled in Waco against Baylor which led to Oklahoma hardly even showing up against their cross-state rival Oklahoma State in the last game of the regular season which the Cowboys won 44 – 10.
2012 – In a lackluster offensive and defensive performance the Oklahoma Sooners got out-hustled and out-hit on their home field in Norman against Kansas State as the Wildcats beat the Sooners 24 – 19 in what looked like a game in that Oklahoma was not ready to play.
Bottom-Line on Bob Stoops and Oklahoma: In the 12 seasons since Bob Stoops and Oklahoma WON the Bogus BCS National Championship in 2000 the Sooners have CHOKED and/or NOT SHOWN UP FOR…
15 Games
….that have by our count COST Oklahoma…
7 Bogus BCS national championships
….over the last 12 seasons AND the question as it relates to this weekend IS…
Will Oklahoma show up this time to play against an undefeated Notre Dame football team
OR
Will Bob Stoops and Oklahoma CHOKE AGAIN?
Well, IF the Sooners don’t show up ready to play and Bob Stoops and Oklahoma LOSES to this average Notre Dame team Bob Stoops will wake-up on Monday morning with his rear-end on the HOT SEAT!
PERIOD.
What will be it be Bob?
Are you and your Sooners going to CHOKE AGAIN?
Gary Pinkel, Missouri vs. Kentucky – Missouri football has gotten a taste of what SEC Football is like in 2012 with four SEC games being played by the Tigers and FOUR LOSSES up on the board and this Saturday another team that is winless in SEC play in 2012, Kentucky, rolls into Columbia, Missouri and if Pinkel and the Tigers lose this game Gary Pinkel will have punched a…..
ONE WAY TICKET to the HOT SEAT!
With these games left after Kentucky….
At Florida
At Tennessee
Syracuse
At Texas A&M
….Missouri MUST BEAT Kentucky or they will have to 3 of their last 4 games just to get to a bowl game this season!
How’s that SEC Conference working out for you Missouri?
Uhhhh, not so good so far!
Kirk Ferentz, Iowa vs. Northwestern – After Penn State came into Iowa City last Saturday and whipped the Iowa Hawkeyes 38 – 14 to drop the Iowa record to…
4 – 3
….and with these games left…
At Northwestern
At Indiana
Purdue
At Michigan
Nebraska
….the Hawkeyes MUST BEAT Northwestern on Saturday or even a mediocre 6 – 6 record might not be achieved and one would think a coach making more than $3.5 Million Dollars a year should be able to get his team to at least a .500 record EVERY year…..right?
Since 2004 Kirk Ferentz’s record in Big Ten Conference play at Iowa is…
32 – 27
…and if that is a good enough Big Ten record for Iowa fans then God love Iowa football fans but sure the Hell no one can make the claim that “EXCELLENCE” is something that is celebrated at Iowa because the TRUTH is Iowa football is now….
MEDIOCRE.
Rich Ellerson, Army vs. Ball State – Army football is having a disastrous 2012 football season and with the Cadets record now at….
1 – 6
…and their only win over another team having a disastrous 2012 (Boston College) it is time for Army football to start playing…..FOOTBALL…starting with the game against Ball State on Saturday.
Ball State can be BEAT but only if the Army football team actually shows up to play the game which is something they HAVE NOT DONE on several occasions in 2012.
Come on Army Football….get off your lazy asses and start playing…..FOOTBALL!
Mack Brown, Texas vs. Kansas – The latest we are hearing from our friends in Austin is that Mack Brown is on a lot HOTTER SEAT than Mack or anyone else around Texas athletics wants to admit and now at 5 – 2 on the season and with these 5 games left…
At Kansas
At Texas Tech
Iowa State
TCU
At Kansas State
…Mack Brown’s future as the head coach of Texas football is ON THE LINE in the last five games of the season.
The obvious is that Mack Brown and Texas CANNOT LOSE to a 1 – 6 Kansas team whose only win is over I-AA South Dakota State because a loss in this spot would be THE END of Mack Brown’s legendary coaching career….at Texas at least.
Charlie Weis, Kansas vs. Texas – Now at 1 – 6 on the season and in his career at Kansas Charlie Weis REALLY needs a win and beating Texas is always BIG for Kansas football and IF Kansas can play like they did against Oklahoma State they might just have a chance to beat the Longhorns in this spot.
With these games left after Texas…
At Baylor
At Texas Tech
Iowa State
At West Virginia
….Texas might be the easiest game left on the schedule so the Jayhawks should go all out in this game or they and Charlie Weis may be looking at an 0 – 9 record in Big 12 play in 2012.
Kevin Wilson, Indiana vs. Illinois – In two seasons at Indiana head coach Kevin Wilson has won…
3 Games
…and those 3 Wins are over…
2011 – I-AA South Carolina State
2012 – I-AA Indiana State, UMass (first year in I-A football in 2012)
….which means that Kevin Wilson REALLY needs a legitimate win and on Saturday the Hoosiers are playing at Illinois and with these games left after the Illini…
Iowa
Wisconsin
At Penn State
At Purdue
….the chance for Wilson to get a legitimate win are running out and thus why Indiana beating Illinois this Saturday is so Damn important.
Derek Dooley, Tennessee vs. South Carolina – In Tennessee’s FOUR LOSSES in 2012 the Vols defense has given up an average of…
43.25 Points Per Game
….and we don’t care how Damn accurate the Tennessee QB is at throwing beer bottles at cars there is NO chance in Hell that Tennessee beats ANYONE giving up more than 43 points a game to decent or better football teams!
When you read things like this…
Report: Getting rid of Dooley, coaching staff could cost over $9 million, College Football Talk
….one can only wonder how such Very Damn Stupid People get into positions of power in the athletic departments at large universities BUT no matter what the buyout of Derek Dooley and his coaches is IF Tennessee cannot start winning some games against Non-Cupcake teams the “Powers-That-Be” at Tennessee will have NO CHOICE but to send Derek Dooley and his coaching staff packing.
Up next is this Saturday’s game at South Carolina and if the Spurrier and the Gamecocks lose this game to a team that gave up 37 or MORE points to Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State and Alabama then it may be time for Steve Spurrier to consider retirement and heading home to the beaches of Florida.
With Tennessee having these games left after South Carolina…
Troy
Missouri
At Vanderbilt
Kentucky
….we have been told by a member of the media in Tennessee that ANYTHING LESS than 7 wins in 2012 and Derek Dooley will be out of a job come December. That reality means that if Tennessee LOSES to South Carolina the Vols will have to WIN OUT to save Dooley’s job.
Randy Edsall, Maryland vs. Boston College – Randy Edsall has slightly righted the ship at Maryland in 2012 after a disastrous first year on the job in College Park, but the loss to NC State in Week 8 at home has put in question whether the Terps can get to MEDIOCRE in 2012 otherwise known as “bowl-eligible” this season and with Maryland’s record now at 4 – 3 and these games left…
At Boston College
Georgia Tech
At Clemson
Florida State
At North Carolina
….this Saturday’s game at Boston College is a MUST – MUST Win Game because a loss in this spot could lead to a long offseason for Randy Edsall and Maryland football.
Ellis Johnson, Rice vs. Southern Miss – In 12 seasons at Southern Miss former Golden Eagles head coach Jeff Bower NEVER won fewer than 6 games and won 7 games or MORE in 10 of 11 seasons on the job and for that Jeff Bower got FIRED in 2007 after putting up a 7 – 6 record which will give you some kind of idea of the Hot Seat that Southern Miss head coach Ellis Johnson is now sitting on as he has started off 0 – 7 in his first year at USM.
Now at 0 – 7 and with these games left…
At Rice
UAB
At SMU
UTEP
At Memphis
….Ellis Johnson might very well be coaching for his job over the next five weeks because the Southern Miss folks we know are just not going to put up with a 2 or 3 win season especially after Johnson took over a Southern Miss football program that won 34 games over the past 4 seasons under Larry Fedora.
Coach hard Ellis against Rice like your job is on the line….BECAUSE IT IS!
Paul Johnson, Georgia Tech vs. BYU – After firing defensive coordinator Al Groh Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson caught a break that the first game without Groh was against hapless Boston College, but the Yellow Jackets defense did seem to play smarter, more cohesive and more aggressive against the Eagles and that led to a…
37 – 17
…win for Georgia Tech over BC.
Now comes a tougher opponent into Atlanta with BYU and the Cougars also have an offense that can be shutdown relatively easily if you get after the QB and the task for Paul Johnson will be to keep his defense aggressive and to keep the Yellow Jacket offense rolling because there are still some tough games left on the schedule…..at Maryland, North Carolina, Duke and at Georgia.
Mark Richt, Georgia vs. Florida – As Mark Richt gets his team ready for Florida and the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party let’s just face FACTS about Georgia’s 2012 season so far:
Georgia really HASN’T BEATEN ANYONE in 2012!
PERIOD!
Here is who Georgia has BEATEN in 2012:
Buffalo
Missouri
Florida Atlantic
Vanderbilt
Tennessee
Kentucky
Like we just said…
Georgia really HASN’T BEATEN ANYONE in 2012!
On Saturday Mark Richt and Georgia will get to play and have a chance to BEAT SOMEONE in the Florida Gators in Jacksonville and considering that Mark Richt’s lifetime record against the Gators is…
3 – 8
….Mark Richt losing in this spot to Florida and second-year head coach Will Muschamp is what we would call…
NOT ADVISABLE!
Dan Enos, Central Michigan vs. Akron – Can anyone explain to us Central Michigan’s last FIVE games:
BEAT Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa
LOST at Northern Illinois
LOST at Toledo
LOST to Navy
LOST to Ball State
So you can beat a Big Ten team on their home field but you LOSE to Northern Illinois, Toledo, Navy and Ball State?
Whatever is going on Dan Enos and Central Michigan are now 2 – 5 overall and 0 – 3 in MAC Conference play and they REALLY need to beat Akron on Saturday because if Enos loses this game his ass will feel like it is sitting in a BIG beach bonfire on Lake Michigan!
Tony Levine, Houston vs. UTEP – After starting out 0 – 3 Houston head coach Tony Levine had a nice run going with WINS over Rice, North Texas and UAB….BUT…then came the SMU game which was nothing less than SMU whipping of the Houston Cougars…
72 – 42
…and it was such a bad whipping we wonder if SMU took away Houston’s manhood!
Houston is now 3 – 4 on the season and they have left…
UTEP
At East Carolina
Tulsa
At Marshall
Tulane
…and if the Cougars don’t start playing better football they might not be MEDIOCRE in 2012 and thus “bowl-eligible” and that would be an Utter Disaster considering the very good football program that Levine took over from previous Houston head coach Kevin Sumlin.
David Shaw, Stanford vs. Washington State – This one’s pretty easy…
Washington State has lost to BYU, Colorado and Cal in 2012
…and thus there would be NO EXCUSE for Stanford to lose this game to the Cougars especially at home on The Farm.
Washington State looks to be a football program that has about half the team buying into what Mike Leach is selling and the other half of the team giving Mike Leach the…
…and if Stanford wallows around and somehow loses this game it would be an EPIC Disaster and thus why the Stanford Cardinal should roll on The Farm on Saturday.
Well…more like…ROLL OR ELSE!
Gene Chizik, Auburn vs. Texas A&M – Condolences to Gene Chizik on the death of his mother this past week which reminds a couple of us here at Coaches Hot Seat of something that happened over 20 years ago during Operation Desert Storm when we were stationed aboard a US Naval Ship in the northern Persian Gulf in the spring of 1991 during the air operation against Iraqi forces in Kuwait and before the ground invasion was launched on February 24.
As the two of us were having lunch we looked up and the Commanding Officer of our ship walked into the room and asked if we had seen Officer “X” who was one of the four department heads on the ship and we said “NO” and if there was anything we could do and the CO said…
“No, radio just got this message from the Red Cross that his mother has passed away.”
We quickly checked the duty roster and Officer “X” was on duty as the Combat Information Center Officer which is where the radars, weapons, and sonar systems are located and which was a hotbed of activity on that day as Allied Forces were conducting hundreds of air attacks against Iraqi positions in Kuwait from nearby aircraft carriers while the helicopters on our ship were very active in supporting those operations while the ship was doing mine sweeping work at the same time. We walked up with the CO to CIC and one of us took over for Officer “X” as the CO took him in the backroom to tell him that his mother had passed away.
After about five minutes the CO and Officer “X” came out of the backroom and Officer “X” had a shaken but determined look on his face and the one of us that had taken over for him asked if he wanted to take the rest of the watch off and his response was memorable to this day….
“I appreciate that….but no I’ve got it.”
….and Officer “X” quickly took back over command of CIC and orchestrating the operations of the ship and we all went back to getting ready for our next watch which was coming up in only a couple of hours.
The moral of that story is that death is part of life and those of us here at Coaches Hot Seat that have been lucky enough to have been nearby and able to support our families when our parents passed away should feel fortunate that we were in that situation and not in the northern Persian Gulf in the middle of a war and thus not able to do anything and thus Gene Chizik MUST also get back to work this week to get his team read for a TOUGH Texas A&M team that is 5 – 2 on the season and their 2 close losses are to….
Florida – The No. 2 team in the country that A&M lost to by 3 points
LSU – The No. 6 team in the country that A&M lost to by 5 points
Amazingly the Vegas Boys have Texas A&M as a 15 point favorite over Auburn on Saturday and if the Aggies are able to come into Jordan-Hare stadium and beat Auburn by two or more touchdowns then Gene Chizik and Auburn will have a Complete and Utter Disaster on their hands because AU’s record would drop to…
1 – 7
….and with these games left…
New Mexico State
Georgia
Alabama A&M
At Alabama
….Auburn might actually finish with a 3 – 9 record with wins over La. Monroe (in overtime), New Mexico State and Alabama A&M.
Yes, we really do wonder?
Just what in the Hell has happened at Auburn because SOMETHING has happened and whatever that SOMETHING is it is tearing apart the Auburn football program and that SOMETHING could do tremendous damage to not only Auburn football but the entire Auburn athletics program for years to come.
Bo Pelini, Nebraska vs. Michigan – There are very college football programs where the pressure is HIGHER than at Nebraska and that pressure and scrutiny is either something that head coach Bo Pelini will embrace and deal with in a direct way or it will destroy Bo Pelini.
PERIOD.
With Nebraska now at 5 – 2 on the year with close wins over Wisconsin at home and Northwestern on the road the Michigan Wolverines coming rolling into Lincoln, Nebraska in a key game for Pelini and his Cornhuskers because if Nebraska can win this game over Michigan then there should be a lot of optimism that Nebraska can run the table in their next four games as well against..
At Michigan State
Penn State
Minnesota
At Iowa
What happens in the Michigan game on Saturday may very well determine whether Nebraska has a successful season (11 plus wins), acceptable season (10 plus wins), concerning season (9 wins or less) or a Disaster of a season (8 wins or less).
Yes, the Expectations for Nebraska Football are HIGH….and they should be HIGH and the day that our friends in Nebraska start lowering their Expectations for Nebraska Football will be the day when we will REALLY start to get concerned about the future of OUR country.
Jeff Tedford, California vs. Utah – One of the more unanswerable questions we have asked of Cal alumni in San Francisco over the past two weeks is…
“What are the expectations for Cal football?”
With Jeff Tedford putting up the following records over the last three years at Cal…
Overall: 15 – 17
Pac-12: 9 – 13
….one cannot help but wonder if MEDIOCRE is now acceptable in the Land of the Crazies otherwise known as Berkeley, California?
With Cal now at 3 – 5 on the season and with these games left…
At Utah
Washington
Oregon
At Oregon State
….what IF Cal finishes the season with a record of….
5 – 7
OR
4 – 8
OR
3 – 9
….would ANY or ALL of the above win/loss records in 2012 get Jeff Tedford fired at Cal?
When we put that question to a Cal alum that we will refer to as “Daddy Warbucks” his answer was:
“If you are asking me if a losing record overall and in the Pac-12 over the past three seasons and losing four of the last six BIG Games is acceptable for Cal football then I would tell you it is not only UN-ACCEPTABLE it is OUTRAGEOUS.”
YES, Utah is a MUST WIN Game for Jeff Tedford and the Cal Golden Bears.
Steve Sarkisian, Washington vs. Oregon State – Right before the 2012 college football season began a few of us here at Coaches Hot Seat spent a few days in Seattle on business and we stayed with a Washington alum friend of ours who lives less than a mile….
…..from UW head coach Steve Sarkisian home and we discussed the state of Washington football with our UW alum friend and his assessment then and today is that…
“Washington football is underachieving under Sarkisian.”
Let’s go Joe Friday and go to the FACTS to find out the TRUTH:
Steve Sarkisian took over a Complete Disaster of a football program from Ty Willingham that DID NOT WIN A GAME in Ty’s last year in 2008 and in four seasons on the job Sarkisian has put up records of…
2009: 5 – 7
2010: 7 – 6
2011: 7 – 6
2012: 3 – 4
Overall: 22 – 23
Pac-10/12: 15 – 16
Is the above underachieving by Steve Sarkisian?
We would say it is a close call between Average and Underachieving for Sarkisian at Washington and when you are being paid over $2 Million Dollars a year at school like Washington that has the resources to play and compete with ANY school in the Pac-12…
Average is NOT Acceptable
….and thus why there should be some concern in Montlake right now because with Washington now at 3 – 4 on the season and with these games left..
Oregon State
At California
Utah
At Colorado
At Washington State
….Sarkisian CANNOT afford to lose many more games because he truly then will fall from in our opinion doing an Average Job to Underachieving and when you fall into the Underachieving category the Hot Seat is not far behind and then comes…..your firing.
YES, Oregon State is a MUST Win for Steve Sarkisian and the Huskies!
