Happy Thanksgiving Day! – We Here at Coaches Hot Seat Give Thanks For….
We would first like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Day out there in the American Republic that will come together today with family and friends to give Thanks while enjoying good food, good spirits and since this is America….the great game of football.
Since a few of us here at Coaches Hot Seat spent more than one past Thanksgiving Day far away from home and America in the US military we would like to wish a special Thanksgiving Day to members of the US armed forces that are serving on the front-lines around the world which allows us here at Coaches Hot Seat and ALL Americans to spend time with our families and friends on this very special day.
To members of the United States military on this Thanksgiving Day:
THANK YOU.
Now be safe and come home soon.
We here at Coaches Hot Seat have someone else that is very special to us to thank on this Thanksgiving Day but more on that in a moment at the end of this blog entry.
The Big Ten can’t compete for national titles in football?
It really is something to see American citizens waving the white flag of surrender and otherwise not acting like REAL Americans, but waving the white flag of surrender high has been the regular course of business in the Big Ten Conference for quite awhile now and it really makes us sick as Americans that have laid our lives on the line in the US military for the things that the American Republic has stood for during its history…. Freedom, Liberty, the Right to Chase Your Own Happiness and do something Great with Your Life….when we see headlines like this one in the Detroit News:
Really Drew? You are going to wave the white flag of surrender also?
How about these paragraphs that in most of American history would not possibly have been written by a REAL American:
“It’s time the Big Ten accepts its regional limitations.
Perhaps Big Ten commissioner Jim Delany finally has. He reportedly supports limiting the BCS’s responsibility to staging the national championship game. No more “BCS bowls.” No more automatic qualifiers. Just the title game.
He is looking for a compromise that will play best to his conference’s bowl strengths — big television ratings and ticket sales — while diverting attention from its biggest weakness: the inability to regularly place a team in the national championship game. The Sugar Bowl or Orange Bowl oftentimes very much would like to have the No. 2 or No. 3 Big Ten team instead of having to take the Big East champion.”
Really Drew Sharp? You actually believe the Absolute Nonsense that comes out of the Coward and Candy Jim Delany’s mouth? Yes, that is our opinion Jimmy Delany…YOU are a Coward, Candy Ass and a Sorry Excuse for an American Citizen.
Oh, but we forget, Drew Sharp writes about the Big Ten and the Big Ten is “Coward and Candy Ass” country where the commish no longer believe his precious little teams and coaches can play with the Big Boys.
Check out the next line of Drew Sharp’s column:
“Delany’s plan with allow for it, and (Mark) Dantonio supports such a revision.”
Mark Dantonio also doesn’t believe that Big Ten football teams can compete on a national level?
That’s pitiful Mark and for us here at Coaches Hot Seat we are Very Thankful on this Thanksgiving Day that you were born AFTER World War II for very obvious reasons, because Cowards and Candy Asses would not have been able to defeat the Germans and Japanese and there would be NO America for us to live in today.
Earlier this week Dan Wetzel of Yahoo! Sports wrote about the Big Ten and their commish Jim Delany….
….but what Dan Wetzel did not say in his column but we here at Coaches Hot Seat will say about Jim Delany is that in our opinion Jim Delany is a Coward, a Candy Ass, a Sorry Excuse for an American and in one person..(along a few Candy Asses college and university presidents in the Big…but the Candy Asses running Big Ten schools is diminishing by the hour it seems which is a Good Thing for America)…is EVERYTHING that is wrong with America because Delany is the perfect example of what happens when a society and a Republic elevates Cowards and Candy Asses to leadership positions and Jim Delany is most certainly both of those…and in spades…in our opinion.
Memo to Dan Wetzel: Jim Delany and evidently the Big Ten football teams and coaches Don’t Have the Guts to take on the Big Boys anymore so they are waving the flag of surrender which should be the official flag of the Big Ten Conference now which is a far cry to what Americans did over 60 years ago at the Battle of Iwo Jima.
Yes, that is how REAL Americans act…in the Big Ten here is the flag they fly proudly:
Yes, we are Very Thankful on this Day of Thanks that Jim Delany is ONLY the commish of the Big Ten Conference because admitting that you are scared, you are frightened that you are very simply….A Candy Ass Pussy…that can’t run with the Big Boys and act like a REAL American is EVERYTHING but how a REAL American would act and for that as you say a prayer of Thanks today also give Thanks that the Candy Ass Pussy Jim Delany that is now running and hiding and hoping no one whips any Big Ten football team’s ass in the near future (like the SEC has been doing for years until Jim Tressel LIED to keep players eligible in the Sugar Bowl last year…like a Coward would act by the way because only a Coward would LIE to win because he knows if he told the TRUTH he would lose) because Jimmy-Boy can’t take his teams’ getting their asses whipped on a regular basis which has been the case for almost a decade now.
Getting back to the REAL World and away from the Candy Ass Pussy…and Coward…in our opinion of course…that is away like a Coward that he is…we watch as much football as anyone in America here at Coaches Hot Seat and over the past 5 football seasons including 2011 there are several Big Ten schools that could compete and WIN a National Championship if Major College Football had a 16-Team Postseason Playoff as opposed to playing in a bunch of Meaningless Exhibition Games that Mean Nothing at All.
Projected Big Ten Conference champion Michigan State hosting South Carolina
AND
At-Large team Wisconsin playing at Oregon
….in Round 1 of the Postseason Tournament.
Oh, Mark Dantonio doesn’t have the Guts or the Courage to play in a Postseason Tournament to see if his Michigan State team could match-up with the nation’s best teams and possibly win a National Championship…BUT…Dantonio is willing to lay around on his ass with his team going to wing eating contests and theme parks and play in a Meaningless Exhibition Game that Means Nothing at All?
Like we said: Be Thankful on this Day of Thanks that Mark Dantonio is ONLY the head football coach at a college and is not on the front-lines around the world defending freedom because somewhere along the line Mark didn’t learn what the American Republic is all about….NO….Mark the American Republic was not built upon people laying around their asses and doing nothing for a week beyond eating wings and going to theme parks and then playing in Meaningless Exhibition Games that MEAN NOTHING AT ALL.
By the way Dantonio…your Michigan State could beat every team in the SEC in a Postseason Tournament scenario…BUT…you Dantonio are too afraid to try and that makes perfect sense because YOUR Conference, the Big Ten Conference is run by a Candy Ass Pussy that in our opinion on the Very Best of his Life would have not been able to take on the Germans and Japanese and help win World War II….in other words act like a REAL American.
Yes, that is our opinion Jimmy Delany…but only part of our opinion…because we leave a whole Helluva a lot out about what we REALLY think of you and your Bullshit and Very Un-American views of OUR country.
For all those Americans, something like 99.9 percent of Americans, that have not visited China and the other rising powers in Asia, we have some news for you and it goes directly to the attitudes of the Cowards and Candy Asses in the Big Ten Conference that don’t have the Guts or the Courage to line-up, put their hand in the dirt and play for and decide the National Champion in college football on the Field of Play:
If the attitudes of Jim Delany and Mark Dantonio become the majority type of attitudes in America….the American Republic is finished….and a lot sooner than you think.
Cullen Murphy had the Cowards and Candy Asses in the Big Ten Conference in mind when he wrote….
….in 2007 and the more Delanys and Dantonios that are born, raised and move into positions of power in America the sooner Murphy’s question will be answered with something like:
We are worse than Rome because the Roman Republic lasted 500 years and the Roman Empire which replaced the Republic lasted almost another 500 years so the 235 years of the American Republic to date will pale in comparison and with China on the rise and OUR Sorry “Elected Leaders” in Washington DC that are asleep at the switch and that seem determined to spend our country into oblivion with massive amounts of debt is only make worse by these Sorry Excuses for American Citizens in the Big Ten Conference that are in our opinion scared and afraid to play for and try to win the National Championship on the Field of Play.
Eventually, America will be destroyed by Cowards and Candy Asses like Jim Delany who also happens to be on the Biggest Arrogant, Pompous Asses in the American Republic as well.
Please, finish our your season Mark Dantonio and then take 30 days off and take your team to a place to lay around on your ass for another week and then play in a Meaningless Exhibition Game that Means Nothing at All…BUT…don’t call yourself a REAL American Mark Dantonio because a REAL American does not back down from a challenge and an opportunity to win a REAL championship.
Enjoy those chicken wings Mark but don’t come crying to us when your children and grandchildren’s lives are destroyed by YOUR actions and sure the Hell don’t claim that the Big Ten Conference is full of men….because the Big Ten Conference is full of Cowards and Candy Asses that are scared to death of having to compete and win championships in the REAL World.
Speaking of the Big Ten Conference again…
The Urban Meyer to Ohio State spectacle…and debacle
We have followed a lot of coaching searches here at Coaches Hot Seat but this entire Urban Meyer to Ohio State spectacle and now turning into a debacle which has been going on for a couple of weeks now and has become story ONE in the same week as the Ohio State – Michigan game is a sorry example of people in positions of power in college football going wild and out-of-control when they should be doing their jobs and keeping their actions and comments out of the news media.
The following Marla Ridenour story in the Akron Beacon Journal says it all about what is REALLY behind all these leaks from Ohio State about Urban Meyer taking over the Buckeyes:
“Ohio State has found the most effective way to bury months of scandal and national ridicule.
Hire Urban Meyer.
By next week, when the Columbus Dispatch and ESPNCleveland.com report Meyer will be announced as football coach, ESPN The Magazine’s embarrassing sweater vest cover and Sports Illustrated’s “How Deep it Went” special investigation into NCAA violations under Jim Tressel will be forgotten.
Then a different circus comes to town.
According to ESPNCleveland.com, three high-powered members of the Ohio State board of trustees orchestrated Meyer’s hiring, not Director of Athletics Gene Smith, who could be reassigned within the university in the next six to nine months. The website said Paul Krebs, New Mexico’s vice president of athletics, is a leading candidate to replace Smith. Krebs spent 14 years in administration at OSU and hired Meyer at Bowling Green in 2001.”
Oh, that’s why there are people leaking the Urban Meyer to Ohio State story during the week of the Ohio State – Michigan game…which is OUTRAGEOUS when the focus should be on the Buckeyes and Wolverines playing their Big Game….which is burying the entire Jim Tressel fiasco which is nothing big but the now former head football coach at Ohio State LYING to keep players eligible even when he knew they had broken NCAA rules which is beyond the pale when ALL teams in I-A football supposed to be playing to the same rules that are followed by the head coaches….right? (Something Mark Dantonio came very close to defending earlier this year which caught our attention Mark and we sure the Hell hope none of your Spartan players are breaking NCAA rules that you know or have any knowledge about Mark, but if it is happening the NCAA and the news media will know about it soon enough as will be the case for ALL of the Big Ten schools actions. If they aren’t breaking NCAA rules…they have nothing to worry about…if there are NCAA rules being broken by Big Ten schools…the NCAA and the news media will know of it…believe that).
Beyond the OUTRAGEOUS circumstances of what seems like Ohio State trustees leaking stories about Urban Meyer coming to Columbus during the week of the OSU – Michigan game which is incredibly shameful to everyone involved including Urban Meyer (although we rather doubt Urban would have wanted all of this stuff to come out before the season was over) there is the issue of who exactly is running The Ohio State University and if it the president (E Gordon Gee) and AD (Gene Smith) or if OSU Trustees are making hiring and personnel decisions which if that is the case then the folks that give the accreditation for Ohio State, the…
Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA)
…might want to look into the governance structure at OSU because only a few years ago the folks that gave the accreditation for Auburn University looked into that school when there were reports that some boosters and trustees were making hiring and firing decisions for the school instead of the president and AD (Remember the Petrino to replace Tuberville “Jet-Gate story? We remember it well).
If there are Ohio State trustees running around making deals and hiring head football coaches, Urban Meyer or someone else, then someone needs to find out who the Hell exactly is running The Ohio State University because if the trustees are now making hiring and personnel decisions then the trustees need to go ahead and make the decision they are authorized to make which is to fire E. Gordon Gee which to us here at Coaches Hot Seat would be the first smart thing anyone at Ohio State would have done in years.
As for Urban Meyer to Ohio State…..NO….we are going to wait until after the Ohio State – Michigan game to discuss that subject because some things….like the Buckeyes and Wolverines facing off on a Fall Saturday is bigger than whether a coach will or will not take over a team and for those folks in the media, especially former Ohio State players that have been fanning this flame of Meyer to OSU, you should be ashamed of yourselves…BUT…it was Kirk Herbstreit that popped off in early December a few years ago and announced on ESPN College GameDay that a team that was playing in a championship game that day (the SEC Championship Game with LSU) that their coach (Les Miles) was going to take the Michigan job which shows Herbstreit’s complete lack of class so why should anyone be surprised that “Dove Care Boy” is out talking about Meyer to Ohio State with the OSU – Michigan game still to be played?
We aren’t surprised at all because in our opinion “Dove Care Boy” Herbstreit would sell out about anyone to promote….Kirk Herbstreit….and we certainly hope that “Dove Care Boy” is not surprised if the Buckeyes get beat badly by the Wolverines when they have OSU alumni and former Buckeye players talking about the next head football coach when there is still a very big game to be played.
No, we would not trust Kirk Herbstreit to watch our dogs nor would we get between Kirk Herbstreit and Dime laying on the ground because “Dove Care Boy” would probably knock anyone out of the way to get to that Dime on the ground because if you are so pitiful that you will announce to the world that a head coach is leaving a school on the day that school’s football team is playing a championship game then you will about do Damn anything.
Hell, this week proved that point with Herbstreit telling anyone that would listen that Urban Meyer should, could be, is headed to Ohio State even with the Ohio State – Michigan game still to be played.
Pitiful.
Hey “Dove Care Boy”: Here’s a thought. Why don’t you call a local dry cleaners store there in Auburn this week when you are there for ESPN College GameDay to see if you can turn another Buck promoting “Becky-Lou’s Tiger Dry-Cleaning” while you are promoting Urban Meyer to Ohio State with YOUR Buckeyes still having a big game to be played against the Wolverines?
Oh, “Dove Care Boy” is a big supporter of the Bogus and Un-American BCS.
That makes Perfect Damn Sense!
The End of the Texas – Texas A&M Rivalry and the Idiocy of DeLoss Dodds
A lot has been written in the past couple of weeks about the end of the Texas – Texas A&M rivalry with the Aggies headed off to the SEC Conference and we agree with the sentiments of most in the media that the UT – A&M game is one that should continue like Richard Justice of the Houston Chronicle:
Of course, Texas should keep playing Texas A&M and one has to hand it to those Aggies in College Station because even with the Buzz-Saw of the SEC West and SEC Conference staring them in the face the Aggies are MAN enough to keep wanting to play Texas to end the season which is a Helluva courageous stand to take….but we would not expect any less from Aggies because Aggies are tough and don’t run away from REAL challenges and playing a SEC schedule and Texas every season would be a Helluva challenge.
As for the boys and girls in Austin it is our opinion they are not MAN or WOMAN enough to keep playing Texas A&M because like Delany and the Big Ten boys and girls….the folks running UT in Austin are Cowards and Candy Asses and are afraid that A&M might actually get a lot better competing against all that tough SEC competition and the folks in Austin can’t have the Aggies running off to SEC-land and then beating the Longhorns’ ass every year to end the season.
No, that would be Very Damn Embarrassing and after all most of the problems with the Big 12 over the past year with 4 teams (Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri and Texas A&M) leaving the conference what this mess has really been about is ego and arrogance and mainly the ego and arrogance of one DeLoss Dodds the Texas athletic director who in our opinion would sacrifice every student-athlete at UT, every student at UT AND the University of Texas itself just in order to be able to claim to his buddies that he was “right” and the other guy was “wrong.”
What are your afraid of DeLoss? Getting your ass beat?
If so you are a pitiful excuse for an American and a Texan.
We have lots of friends in Great State of Texas and many of them are UT alums and to a person they are…yes…mad about Texas A&M leaving the Big 12 for the SEC which they ALL blame DeLoss Dodds and the UT Administration for….BUT…they are OUTRAGED that the game between Texas and Texas A&M is ending and they blame only DeLoss Dodds for this great game’s demise.
Let’s face facts: DeLoss Dodds is too much of a Coward and Candy Ass to keep playing Texas A&M because DeLoss is afraid the Aggies might just run off a lot of wins over the Longhorns and we can’t have that now….can we?
No, that would look very bad indeed because remember DeLoss Dodds is all about….
“winning”
And getting your ass beat by the Aggies is most certainly not…”winning.”
Cowards and Candy Asses NEVER WIN DeLoss and as we said recently in this blog we would ask that University of Texas president William Powers tell DeLoss to keep the Texas – Texas A&M going but…in our opinion….when the president of the University of Texas has to ask his AD if he can go to the bathroom or not could someone explain to us how he could tell the UT athletic department head to keep the Horns and Aggies game on the schedule?
The Great Texas – Texas A&M football rivalry is ending because of one Sorry Ass Person, DeLoss Dodds, who in our opinion is a Candy Ass and Coward that is AFRAID to keep the UT – A&M game going because Dodds is afraid of Texas getting its ass beat by the Aggies.
Now…that is pitiful….but keep this in mind. The rise of the Candy Ass generation…the folks that are scared of putting their hand in the dirt and settling football games and sports championships on the Field of Play is not just limited to the Midwest. Texas is full of Candy Asses as well…with one particular Candy Ass in Austin that is scared to death to continue to play….
A Football Game
Now that makes “Dove Care Boy” look like a man…which isn’t easy!
Yes, America is finished if these Candy Asses and Cowards continue to get themselves into positions of power….BUT…the majority of the United States Congress is now filled with Candy Asses that would have NEVER been able to win World War II if they had been around in 1941 so the American Republic just keep moving…mainly downwards…..As the Candy Ass World Turns!
As for the Texas – Texas A&M game later today we implore the Aggies to
Beat the Hell out of the Texas!
….and if you get them down by a few scores….really turn it up a notch or two and send those Cowards and Candy Asses back to Austin with their asses beat…and beat good for a long-time to come.
The most amazing thing about the above post about DeLoss Dodds….two years ago he was one of the men we admired most in intercollegiate athletics…and now….we wouldn’t help him change a tire which to us here at Coaches Hot Seat is about the worst thing we can say about someone because we would help out anyone that needed help on the side of the road with a tire change…except for DeLoss Dodds. Yes, that is one person we would drive by on the side of the road and laugh out loud as we went by.
Get a clue DeLoss….keep the Texas – Texas A&M rivalry going….or you will go down as one of the Biggest Morons in Texas state history.
