After taking into account the Incredibly Damning Louis Freeh report and reading the latest story from ESPN’s Don Van Natta, Jr. on the Jerry Sandusky Disaster and the Penn State Board of Trustee actions…
….which is filled with even MORE Damning information about the so-called “Leaders” at Penn State not aggressively acting to protect children BUT rather aggressively acting to protect their own precious asses including the rather startling conclusion to Van Natta Jr.’s ESPN.com story:
“On Oct. 29, 2011, board chairman Garban noticed Sandusky sitting in the Nittany Lion Club at the Penn State game against Illinois when Paterno won his record-setting 409th victory. Garban told Freeh investigators he was “astounded” to see Sandusky attending the game. But despite that observation and reaction, Garban told only two of his 31 colleagues about what he knew about the Sandusky investigation.
“Neither Garban, Spanier, Broadhurst, Surma nor Baldwin spoke to the remaining board members about the impending charges until after the charges were filed against Sandusky, Curley and Schultz on Nov. 4, 2011,” the Freeh report says.
“We’re made to look like fools,” a trustee told “Outside the Lines” about the Freeh Group’s accounting of the board and the failure of Garban to inform all 32 members. “And we were fools.””
Yes….FOOLS…..BUT as one of the sharpest people we know who is in a position of leadership at one of America’s great universities related to us over the weekend about what he thought about what has gone on at Penn State with and around the actions of Jerry Sandusky:
“You have to remember that we are talking about very intelligent and savvy guys here and you must consider the idea that if they were covering-up for Sandusky which they had to know could put them in big legal jeopardy that they were covering-up for Sandusky for a reason.”
Oh…..IF the so-called “Leadership” at Penn State covered-up the EVIL actions of Jerry Sandusky they would have to have done that cover-up for a REASON beyond just acting “Humanely” towards Jerry Sandusky or even to “protect” Penn State University and its football program because for “very smart people” protecting the “reputation” of a school or football team doesn’t seem like enough to risk potential jail time for themselves….right?
Well….for normal human beings that is “right” but as we have learned these may or may not have been normal human beings that care about other human beings and about children more than their own personal ambition and image….and yet….it seems that a cover-up did happen and thus was the REASON for the cover-up?
Consider for a moment why exactly then President Richard Nixon ordered his White House staff to orchestrate a “cover-up” of the break-in at the Democratic National Committee’s offices at the Watergate office complex.
Was Richard Nixon concerned about the FACTS of the break-in getting out into the public?
NO…the FACTS of the Watergate break-in were well known to the news media and general public for months and long before the Washington Post connected the break-in to the White House and as the Watergate investigation unfolded the ties between the people that ordered and did the break-in at the Democratic National Committee and the Committee to Re-Elect the President were slowly coming to light….BUT…what scared the Hell out of Richard Nixon was what a full investigation into the Watergate break-in would reveal to the public and the world something that Richard Nixon was desperate to keep out of the newspapers and public domain.
That “something” that Richard Nixon wanted to keep out of the newspapers and public domain was that the Committee to Re-Elect the President had employed a man by the name of E. Howard Huntwho was a former employee of the CIA and who can be traced with publicly available information back to the US Government’s operations to overthrow Cuba’s Fidel Castro in the late 1950s – early 1960s which culminated in the failed Bay of Pigs operation in April 1961 of which Richard Nixon was deeply involved in the planning of in the late 1950s when he was Vice President of the United States under President Eisenhower.
Imagine for a moment the shock that must have gone through Richard Nixon’s body when he was told by his staff that the Committee to Re-Elect the President had employed E. Howard Hunt and Hunt had been involved in orchestrating the break-in at the DNC’s office at the Watergate AND that Nixon knew that Hunt could easily be tied to past CIA operations and more importantly in Richard Nixon’s case to the botched Bay of Pigs operation that saw many anti-Castro Cubans die on the beaches at the Bay of Pigs in April 1961 which the anti-Castro Cubans that got out alive that day never forgot and blamed President John F. Kennedy for and as Nixon knew it from there it didn’t take much to draw a line between pissed off anti-Castro Cubans to what happened in late Dallas 1963 with the murder of John F. Kennedy.
Whether E. Howard Hunt “tracked back” to the Kennedy Assassination or not is for conspiracy theorists to ponder and whether that is TRUE or not it doesn’t change the FACTS of history that John F. Kennedy was murdered in Dallas in late November 1963, but there is NO doubt in our minds that Richard Nixon was scared to death that E. Howard Hunt would start talking about all kinds of things that would not only implicate Richard Nixon in all manner of “horrible” things but would implicate the US Government itself in all kinds of “horrible” things and would thus threaten the legitimacy of the American Republic itself of which Richard Nixon was then the President.
The above is why we believe that Richard Nixon orchestrated a massive “cover-up” of the break-in of the Democratic National Committee’s office at the Watergate building and in the end like most cover-ups of wrongdoing and EVIL the Nixon attempted cover-up of E. Howard Hunt’s involvement in the Watergate break-in brought down a President and did tremendous damage to OUR country and Nixon’s direct involvement in the cover-up were proved by the tapes from the audio system that Richard Nixon himself had installed throughout the White House.
As our teachers of “intelligence” working for that very same US Government 20 years later taught us…
“Ask yourself “WHY” is someone doing something and you will learn their real motivation(s) and thus you will be better able to make recommendations to commanders in the field and to policy makers.”
OK….Ask Yourself “WHY” the so-called “Leadership” at Penn State University would in our opinion be involved in a Massive Cover-Up of what they had to know were the EVIL actions of Jerry Sandusky using his Second Mile Charity to gain access to and RAPE young boys sometimes even on the Penn State campus?
When we ask ourselves the above “WHY” question we remember that we are talking about “very intelligent and savvy” people at Penn State that were involved in this alleged decade long plus cover-up and when one considers the downside of them telling the TRUTH and turning over the information that they were told about the actions of Jerry Sandusky to the proper authorities which based upon the evidence presented at the Sandusky trial would have ended up in Sandusky being arrested and convicted of RAPING young boys that he gained access through Sandusky’s Second Mile Charity we come to the inescapable conclusion that “very intelligent and savvy” men would not have covered-up for Jerry Sandusky unless they had a Very Damn Good reason to do so.
Now what would that Very Damn Good reason to cover-up and in our opinion enable Jerry Sandusky be?
We can think of a few and that means that in our opinion there is a Helluva lot about Jerry Sanduksy’s actions and the Sandusky’s Second Mile charity that have not made it into the public domain yet and if the people of Pennsylvania really give a Damn about their state and their flagship university and most importantly about the safety of children and the lives of the children that were destroyed by the EVIL Sandusky’s actions (and children in and around Penn State even today) that were in our opinion ENABLED by the so-called “leadership” at Penn State University then they will look….
Deep and Long into Jerry Sandusky, the Second Mile Charity and the people in positions of “leadership” at Penn State AND the Second Mile Charity for the past two decades and if they do that they may just find something that normal and decent Human Beings would be repelled and horrified by BUT things that must be addressed and dealt with if Penn State University is to ever move forward and away from this Jerry Sandusky Scandal that may in fact involve a lot more people and activities that has to date been reported in the news media and made it into the public domain.
IF Penn State University is continued to be run by the current PSU Board of Trustees that even today seem out-of-touch with reality of the HORROR and EVIL that happened right under their noses and saw Jerry Sandusky in a suite at Beaver Stadium for a Penn State football game in late October of LAST YEAR just days before he was indicted and arrested for RAPING young boys on the Penn State campus then we may indeed have to join the calls of some in the media to…
Shut Down the Penn State Football Program for YEARS
….because it seems that even after the conviction of Jerry Sandusky and the Damning Louis Freeh report that these Bastards running Penn State just…
Don’t Get the Enormity and EVIL that has gone on at THEIR school
…and that Massive Changes of the entire culture at Penn State need to be put into action including the immediate resignation of EVERYONE associated with Penn State during the last couple of decades that were in positions of leadership and responsibility and did nothing to stop the EVIL that was happening almost right in Damn from of them!
