Oh also this…Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino has his team now at 6 – 5 on the season and the Cardinals badly need a win in this spot as well because a 6 – 6 record will land Bobby Petrino right back on the Hot Seat heading into the offseason and we are quite Damn confident that’s not something Petrino wants to deal with over the next 9 months!

…which includes ONE .500 or better season and ONE bowl game trip and we rather doubt that will be good enough for Johnson to get a FIFTH season at Tulane which is about to hire a new athletic director who will have no connections to Johnson and we all know how those situations workout with a new AD usually wanting his or her own head football coach in place going forward.
In our opinion here at Coaches Hot Seat the Tulane job is a VERY attractive job sitting in one of America’s great cities and with TONS of high school football talent within a four hour drive of the school AND with a new on-on-campus football stadium…..Yulman Stadium
We can think of a Helluva lot of Very Damn Good Football Coaches that would LOVE to get a shot at coaching the Tulane Green Wave and it will be interesting to see who Tulane goes after and eventually hires if they do fire Curtis Johnson.
